I think it mostly has to do with people don't like it, I see people drop the BL just because the character that they like is not bottoming or bottoming I see this problem even with queer people, while I agree we should get more switch but that is not popular.   2 reply

Well, you see, I'm Arabian. These days I've noticed new BLs that have Arabian clothing, buildings, etc., like Antidote or Bloody Moon. TBH, homophobia is a huge issue in Islamic Arabic countries, and seeing the author making their characters gay where everyone supports them is just… I don't know what to feel about it.
