I eat >6000cal a day, but i've never really gained weight. i'm 60.8kg (approximately 134lbs), but that's fine for a 188cm height (6'2").

Try eating small portions of any food (or even sweets) in between the 3 regular meals. Conditioning is better than dieting/skipping.
