Sorry meant to dislike ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I guess you dont understand the feeling of someone who has been lonely since their childhood and not having a proper father figure there for them, the father may be there physically but mentally he isn't. ALSO THE FACT THAT BEFORE SHE COMMITTED SUICIDE HER FATHER. LET ME REPEAT. HER FATHER DRAGGED HER TO THAT SHADOW ROOM TO BE 'TORTURED'. The father honestly probably just teaming up with the crown prince to get her out of there BUT SHE DIDN'T FUCKING KNOW THAT. even I would have a huge ass misunderstand if that happened to me. Hello?? Did you read the subtle signs of the father caring for her throughout the series? It totally shows you that the female lead completely cannot read signs and singlehandedly created a memory of her father not caring in her past life. So honestly her death was also build on her misunderstanding of her father. I guess you can't blame her for not being able to read people, not everyone was born with high eq. You can enjoy this kind of character but that doesn't I have too.

Try to understand my perspective/POV

SUBTLE SIGNS. Im sorry, it is true that he has showed subtle signs, but that is after she was 'reborn'. The father mostly showed signs of love to his daughter when she about a toddlers age, but how many people out there have you met that 100% remembers what they did, saw, and felt as a toddler, not many im guessing. ALSO the fact that the father hid his love for his daughter majority of the time (like 99.5% of the time) because he doesn't want people to know that she is his weakness, emperor found out and that fuckers a dick. AS WELL AS the fact that as she continued to grow up her father never turned up to her birthdays or her social debut etc, he never said congratulations or even saw her, as it obviously pointed it out during one of the chapters. you cant tell me that after that many times of him not turning up, acting like he doesn't care, cant hurt a girls heart that in the end makes them unable to see their parent being kind to them. There are times where she thought 'is he being nice or is he doing this to look nice'. It is a misunderstanding on both parts, you cant just say it is only on the female lead. I think you should research on child neglect what how it can affect people mostly when they are young because this, as you would call 'shit', shows a lot on how neglect can have an effect on a persons perceptive on their parents and their surroundings. I think you've read my whole fucking ass of an essay as to why I think her behaviour towards her dad is actually realistic lol. And a quick Googling mentioned that to change a "habit" (habit, not a whole behaviour) needs at least around 66 days (which is... 3 months?) for an adult. And it's faster for kids lol.

Which means, at least according to some of parenting blogs, to make her actually "believes" her dad (changing her behaviour), it should've taken a few months at least, but I think it could've even take years bcs she "knows" that her dad is capable of killing her lol.

But yeah, it's only a webtoon, no need for the author to do some researchs lol unlike some literature novels.
