Yeah I would also like manga like that - where it's actually about acceptance and friendship more than romance. The only one that I know of is Ike Reibuns's Ani no Hanashi. It's more of a familial acceptance though. I just wish there's more manga that would explore the feeling of sincerity and tolerance to those who are different.
Koimonogatari is actually the manga I was talking about. I like it a lot,because it is so close to reality.
I haven't read it yet coz it's not completed yet but by the sound of it, it seems really good. Definitely in my to-read list (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I hope they don't end up together and this becomes a manga about friendship and accepting yourself. But it would also not be too bad when they would become a couple. Isn't there a manga where they are just friends and the hetero helps the gay friend to accept him and his sexuality?
