she never tried or even thought about forcing him (yet). and I guess that uncertain 'yet' hovering like a damocles sword over everyone's heads is what makes people loose their shit because of so many other precedents like that. her case seems a bit different to me though. until now at least she seems rather level-headed while also being hopeful still, simply trying to grasp her chance. which makes me think Fatima won't make such a rash judgement in this case as some readers make about her. I mean being a good competent general does not cancel her being total hypocritical actions and thoughts ever since she shows up in the story. she is still a hypocrite and there nothing wrong with that and she everything else but "r level-headed" I think you lost what it mean when you said she is one, a "level-headed" person won't try to force someone else that said he loves someone to marry them, just to use them as a political tool.
