This author’s work is usually an acquired taste that’s pretty polarizing for a lot of readers. Story wise, her stuff tends to fall on a very seinen end of the spectrum, with a lot of plots and characters that are atypical for yaoi. Her art is also really unique too, and people usually love it or hate it, with little in between.

Exactly ! Takahashi sensei started of as a shounen artist, then shifted to seinen for quite some time and it’s only in 2017 that she decided to try BL.
Her stories are more drama focused than pure romance, they’re heavily influenced by seinen genre and lastly her art style is very unique. She doesn’t draw bishounen or hikemen characters. It’s either you love her manga or you hate it. In my case I LOVE IT !

Yes and I’m sincerely glad that despite being super niche, her manga are still being published outside of Japan. Currently Manga Planet / Futekiya has released all her BL manga except for this one (which is still ongoing) and the cat story.
It’d be sick to see the art style of Yuki To Matsu and especially Stigmata on paper

If you like seinen written and drawn by a female mangaka, then you might want to check out Tonari no Hyakkai Kenbunroku written/drawn by WATANUKI Yoshiko. It's a mixture of top-notch horror/mystery story with a tint of seinen. The first volume has been published and I can promise you it's a fantastic story both visually and storywise. Also, the younger male lead is super hot. :P
Haven't read yet, why is the rating so low?
