Well I think it's fine if a kid has feelings for someone older. I had a huge crush on Shawn Mendes when I was a kid and my friend (in 5th grade) had a crush on a teacher. It's normal and fine kids just see older figures in a different light I really think that's fine. That is as long as the other person doesn't act on it. the art and storyline are interesting and cute, the author is very sutble with the abnormal things in this story but they are there. Its easier to ignore it since the cover is in japanese and the actual manga doesnt directly or openly display predatory behaviours.
The bunny outfit wasn't provocative tho...tbh it was cute it didn't show any inappropriate parts of tsubaki...atleast from my memory. I'm not seeing it. It's also not too wierd cause they are only 5 years apart and are basically childhood friends. Yuu didn't raise tsubaki

5 years isn't that much...I mean my parents are 9 years apart and their perfectly happy. It only becomes a problem when the person is old enough to be your parent...like 25 and 30 isn't a big deal or 17 and 22...it's not that big
These kinds of age gaps are only okay when both paties are above 18. You are desensitised to predatory age gaps, these kinds of things aren't something im qualified to help you with. Speak about these kinds of opinions you have with a therapist i cant change the fact you feel this way about child predators. My dad and my mom are 7 years apart, they met when my mom was 15 and he was 22. She lied about her age and when he find out he continued to engage in a relationship with her. My dad was child predator, I've accepted it but i know that I'll never treat a young girl the way he did, i cant even imagine being with an 11 yro. If your parents are perfectly happy that is ok but it does not change the fact that if one your parents met the other while they were are minor they were a child predator. Being that kind of person was normalised back in the early 2000's which i can understand but it is criminal and immoral. Statutory rape exists for a reason.
