Girl it's just a cute, fun story about a misunderstood guy and a deadpan guy. Come on you can't be seriously saying this shit when one of them is actually meant to not show any personality?
It's not plot-driven, and that's okay. It's not to your liking, and that's okay, but to call it without substance is baffling, and calling out the trope is weird af. This is one of the mamhwas that have a less cartoon approach on the plot without it being subjected to realism still.

idk to me like in my opinion it feels without substance and I can’t change the way the story makes the characters feel in my opinion like it’s all good w me if ppl like the characters cuz their opinion is that the characters are dynamic and interesting, but for me that’s not the case, as for the trope, idk like if you using a trope and not creating anything new or interesting (cuz in my opinion it’s not interesting) then to me the story itself is without substance. I like writing reviews tho it’s fun and it’s for myself, not rlly other ppl, I rlly like trying to think why I didn’t enjoy something and even if someone worked hard on something, you can’t control getting 1 bad review if the majority of ppl liked the story, it’s no hate to the author but to this story specifically, there are songs from my favorite artists that I absolutely can’t stand but it’s never directed at the person. Idk why so many people disagree with you because I for one 100% understand what you mean by that but I don’t think the author wrote this without planning character development and personality for jeong-min I think the author went for a more mysterious and nonchalant personality..too nonchalant…sometimes I wish he could show some facial expressions or emotions,anything besides him with an idle face would be good because when juwon was crying like a baby jeong-min was just standing there like an npc, it was so awkward and you can tell he obviously has a hard time expressing how he feels, so hopefully we can get some background on jeong-min and his actions because I need an explanation on why,how,and when
