I'll read Code Name Anastasia anyway, because I started reading the first chapter months ago and really like the chara design, the premise of the plot (spy x informant) and BL with action are just too rare. Uke is so cute, pretty and strong.
If it becomes too difficult to bear then I can just stop reading. Generally Yaois that become too smutty tend to bore me and that's when I drop; I prefer when the plot is focused on the main intrigue and doesn't get lost because of the amount of smut or filler episodes (_ _ ) Zzz z
I can read stories with rape/SA, IF the rape and actions of the protagonist/perpetrator (here often, the ML) follow some purpose in the stotry, but if the rape is just there for the smut and is repeatly shoved to our face... aside the fact that it's not good, it brings nothing for the plot, and less again for stories like Code Name Anastasia because it actually contain an intrigue (hero is on mission). For the romance that's terrible as well because then their relationship to MC and ML doesn't develop in a healthy way.
We need to ask these BL authors why they choose so often rape or SA as a way for their protagonists to communicate or fall in love ¯_(ツ)_/¯
The reasons they're doing that can be rooted in the fucked up imaginary, culture and phantasms of Japanese patriarcal view on (hetero) sex and domination (Romanticization of rape/forceful intercourse). Since Korean BL authors grew eating Japanese Yaoi BL, we find now the same type of stories in BL manhwas.
Often, the rape serves as plot device for the two protagonists to fall in love, and this can be for the above reasons, but also because it's simply poor writing and lazyness.

There are many reasons as to why there's rape/SA in these fictions targeted to the female gender and why despite the toxicity and violence that audience continue to read and eat all. I've read before that if the Fujoshis read and enjoy these rapey Yaois, one of the reasons is because these stories where the Uke is ravished/raped by the Seme can reflect the inconscious/subconscious phantasms of girls especially the younger ones to be desired and ravished by someone of the opposite gender, and these fictions are actually fulfilling this fantasy. It may be true or not true, but I just found it weird as a reason to appreciate these lectures.
Btw, (they added) the Uke is enjoying it in the end, so the deal is not that big.
I don't know about that aspect and don't care much about it, but I think it's a bit rapid to speak as if we, female readers, self insert ourself in these lectures since they're just fictions. One of the reason why is because the ML of these stories are generally handsome, tall and all... and we know they'll be the end game with the Uke, so we put up with the story and many accept the shit. This is what fictions are, just tales and books, a way to escape in other universes and entertain ourself.
Though maybe some are actually sefl-inserting themself, I don't know ^^' It's true that BL is sub part of the Shojo genre, but since Yaoi - the explicit version of BL-, is generally smutty it's also considered as hentai all the while destined to the female audience.
And then, there's the gay hentai and other doujins produced by men authors for male audience which is a complete different thing, but readable to many girls because they're just too used to see smut.

What I want to say is that in these BL, the rapist of Uke is generally a beautiful protagonist, tall with perfect body, and even if he's a dick he has also qualities and protect the Uke when he's in danger. Uke is also a character designed for the story, and generally they're weak-mind and aren't a reflexion of boys IRL (neither is the ML).
Rape/SA in real life is just not like that and is a horrible thing, disguting beyond anything else and our primale fear as a girl, woman, and for nothing in the world we would like to endergo such tragedy. So even if someone is enjoying rape fantasy or romanticize the rape in these fictions, they should be conscious that it's just fantasy, smut. Even when they defend the ML, perpetrator of such action, they should know they're defending a fictional character. If not, I don't know what to say to them...

This one is based on a novel so Idk how they're gonna handle the rape scenes, if that's already there by now. I stopped at the latest chapter when I stopped to pick up the novel and decided I'll read it later when more of the Manhwa has been done. I was traumatized for days and had to take a break (from the novel). There are five volumes (4 main that I've read) and a side story which is supposed to be full of fluff. I am Sooo sorry for the spoiler. Did I not scroll down enough to spoil it??? Yeah, idk. How smutty this will become. I TOTALLY agree w you on the smut though. If the smut is appropriate to the situation then even if it were a lot then I can handle it, as it is part of the story. But smut for the same of smut gets boring. I couldn't finish My Subs. I think O have up half way or more. Their sex scenes don't even MAKE SENSE. I think I got bored w Felix (I forgot the Manwha name) & his counterpart cuz all the sex scenes were just made for purpose of just sex.

As far as rape scenes go, I don't personally enjoy it.

What I dislike is when the smut that started as forced s*x conitnue throughout chapters and there's nothing else but these anymore, goshh... I don't know why many of these 100+ chapters Korean BL are like that...! To say there are actually novels with precise descriptions of such scenes, don't know if we should praise the authors or find this disturbing. It'd a waste of potential because Code Name Anastasia started out really nice, with a strong Uke and action scenes, guns everywhere... Why so much efforts if it was gonna be thrown through the windows later...?
That reminds me Monochrome Rumor, where instead of smut scenes, the chapters are filled with endless episodes of the idol routine and jokes... (ノ_<。)
I don't mind the idol stuff, though with the amount of the filler episodes, the plot got lost and to enderstand you'll need to reread all. Plus since it's become disjointed, you have the impression of doing a detective work trying to understand a simple BL, when the lecture was supposed to be fluid and understanble.

There were some very detailed spoilers floating around the internet. When I read them it made me very disturbed for a while.
It's not just sex scenes but attitude of ML was totally on another level.

The story was seriously so interesting, the art as you said absolutely beautiful. The sexual abuse part felt like it was "pushed" to be there, it didn't even fit with the story and just ruined it for me. Both of the characters had so much potential and i really really loved the fact that mc was a lawyer.

I wholeheartedly agree with all your points. Sadly though, not everyone is able to separate fiction with reality, especially people that are younger. In the first place, they shouldn't be having any access to such content if they're underage. I used to be one of them, i had access to "porn" from the age of 12 and only now as an adult did i become aware of the effects this had my psyche.

Yeah, there are a lot of underage people reading these 18+ contents that look not so harmful since it's Manga and 2D Characters... But it indeed contributes to make the readers used to certain extrem contents and desentivize them, both vision and mental.

Without going as far a rape/SA, when a man that you don't know grab your arm or rub you in a strange way, it already feels nauseous and we as a woman feel that primale fear invading us because we're weaker in terms of strenght, so no need to go further...
IRL the men who engage in this crime are usually sexual offenders/predators, degenerated individuals who are often known by the police; they're the opposite of the handsome ML in our Yaoi in terms of physical appearence. The rape is also accompanied by coups and violence under hazardous circumstances; the victim is marked and traumatized for life. Many victims who can't reach resilience end up committing suicide.
But even though I told it's usually sexual predators, forced intercourse/rape can happen in any circumstance, if the situation and context is favorable to it. So girls really need to be extra careful with who they hang out with, what they're doing at which moment...

Even when it's domestic rape (with husband, boyfriend...), this isn't less traumatizing.
