MANY PEOPLE believe that it's not such a serious thing cause it's fictional yaoi but it is!!! Yaoi is not mainstream yes sure. But sadly it is now ruled by sexually frustrated freaks on the internet now rape has become so usual in thus type of fiction which may not have yet but surely will have an effect on reality and people perceive gay man and any lgbtq members.
Rape is not needed in most manhwas these days but still are pretty much used people just don't care anymore and if they ever a character doing the bear minimum they'll be the first one to say" hey at least he didn't rape him/her" like what??? We should never have to think that anyways
please leave me alone damn i never ask this but at this point you are not making any valid points concerning yaoi and its correlation to real sexual violence other than assumptions and grouping it with real findings which is so dangerous and extremely misinformed??
you lost me because you’re making the convo black and white, but also creating opinions based off feelings and not things that actually happen with mlm and rape plots. this conversation feels so unserious at this point. you are trying to find an echo chamber to overly explain why fictional male rape contributes to REAL male sexual violence when it doesn’t!!! and applying its consumption to real data that has nothing to do with it at all. you literally admit rape can be used as a plot point while also equating its weight to all forms of media when it’s clearly very separate/different. are you 14 or something? because no yaoi does not encourage any of the crimes you claim ?!:$:&/&/
nothing you said is real, are you getting that? the things you are bringing up concerning desensitization of sa, dehumanization, etc are things that have happened to women because of violent real porn. stop comparing male on female violence to fictional mlm media with rape because there’s no connection!!! these are 100% your personal biases based on hasty generalizations and slippery slope fallacies
again, not valid points only personal bias. idk what side of the internet you are on but you should move off it quickly. you basically outed yourself that the violence you said happened didn’t occur yet because it “surely WILL” have an effect on reality and how people perceive queer people
meaning you know it hasn’t happened but ASSUMED it will… it was a freudian slip on your end. many people believe it’s not serious because they can read about it and know it’s not affecting real people, it’s just a story, and know these behaviors are wrong. people are able to read tragic things and also not perpetuate those behaviors you know??
ugly people need to leave me alone!! i would say this too if i had a hard time deciphering text
the first person who criticized me, over the span of 4 pages mind you, deadass apologized for being wrong about their assumptions. im guessing you also didn’t understand this paragraph correctly but damn at least TRY to think critically
blocking makes you mad?? thank you for putting it out there, ill do that right now
and again if you took a second to thoughtfully digest what i said and also look through my account you’d also see i dislike stories with literal torture porn and ungodly amounts of sa!!! had to reply twice because like my bio says, i hate slow people :(

people were complaining why there are stans for zhenya but hate for jaekyung and if we’re being real… it’s because we expect him to be as psychotic and bad as a mafia member can get
there’s a HUGE difference between going into a toxic story and both people have the power to fight back vs one-sided beat downs. in jinx dan is only a perpetual victim, played a mary sue, and is in an abusive relationship with a celebrity. in the case with zhenya and tae, we got to see them bond on equal grounds and know their personalities upfront. this is in no way excusing the violent rape that happened in both stories, but there’s clearly a distinct dynamic between these two couples. even though we don’t know either of their backstories yet, im not surprised someone raised in violent environment with early exposure to death has zero empathy… compared to jae who’s a normal citizen
