Learn to differentiate? It’s fiction?? Lol your critical thinking skills must be on leave today. It’s the same romanticisation of toxic and trauma behaviour in fiction that perpetuates the suffering of victims IRL!! Toxic stuff almost always works out irl, there are so many ppl in situations like Ian, some even in worse. Having honest conversations surrounding trauma is what we should be doing not calling abuse hot because it’s fictional and the smut turns you on. Do better!

You're being rather reactive to what is simply a difference in how we are all free to consume media, as long as it doesn't cause harm to others.
So, again..Learn.To.Differentiate.
If you'd like to analyze a piece of media aimed for entertainment as if you're doing a dissertation on the human condition, or just use it as sample material to discuss concerns that you have about topics portrayed in the story/as a jumping off point for issues as seen through a real life moral lens, you sure can do that. As I can do the opposite. Highly suggest to get off your high fictional puritanist horse and fight where it actually matters.
Folks seeing this as “hawt” and “sexy” when we are in fact dealing with an extremely broken person who uses sex as an escape from his trauma. Porn has RUINED some of y’all thinking!
