the last play parties I went to were part of a leatherdyke convention, so there wasn't really a theme except that it was for women, trans, and nb ppl only, and cis men were not allowed to attend. I had transformative, healing experiences at these events so I would probably go again if given the chance! I'm not actively seeking it though.

I haven’t, though I’ve heard of them. I’m interested in going to one in the future though! The one you went to sounds like an interesting experience so I’d like going there maybe as a first for me.

I know that there is a difference between bdsm in a relationship & being "play partners" with someone - but if someone has a play partner, isn't there also the concept of loyalty?
so for example does the "master" need to be loyal to his "slave" and the other way around?
