We literally used simple words specifically so the point wouldn’t be missed, yet somehow they still claim we “didn’t get it” or that we “lack comprehension.” It’s funny how they fail to understand their own post, which clearly implied they wanted the criticism to stop/lessen just because the ML isn’t as bad as others. It didn't sting I said its a weird comment to make when nothing was said to even get to that point. And the "extreme" comment can be like you said a "general" comment yet it got your panties in a tizzy. Ok What about the points when I brought up WITHOUT comparing him to other semes? Again emphasis on the "so much" backlash that I was questioning. Your reference to "isn't always bad" is a realistic fact about real people. Nobody can be 100% "good" and most ppl do some questionable, borderline bad behaviors, but that doesn't always make them bad people inherently. People can be good and do bad things. My reasoning for defending him isn't that he isn't ALWAYS bad but rather the positive behaviors he has exhibited and inner thoughts point to a character that isn't inherently bad. But I'm also basing it off of what we know right now.
I reread this after losing interest for a while but why are all the comments bashing the ML? Compared to many other manhwas with similar plots or characters, the ML in this is far from dogshit Jaekyung. Yea he isn't nice sometimes but you can tell by his actions he isn't a complete dickhead like even in the very beginning when he actually lets Yigon sleep and rest, etc. You can tell from his thoughts, he feels something is off and isn't straight fucked up. Has everybody forgotten that Yigon DID NOT TELL Taekang, what his grandfather said and how that whole dinner ended? Yes he told him that his brother is trying to kill him, but its a lil hard to believe and nothing really suggests that ML knows knows. IDK I dont get the hate and in fact see the potential in this story since from the very beginning ML and MC has shown that they are somewhat respectful and kind characters, just bound by their circumstances.
