Tho, lately I've been seeing more green flag manhwa, not much but they're not as rare as 2016.
I'm not talking about how they romanticize it. I'm talking about the plots and stories. I'm trying to say how much there's more genre to yaoi mangas ( best authors like scarlet beriko, ichinose yuma, sakimoto saki, etc.) than manhwa that are long and taking too much time that just contains pure rape, abuse, etc.
And yes I know there are some green flag stories but like I said "most of manhwas contains rape..." Which means it's rare to find new manhwas that contains romance and just life y'know-kinda story.
This narrative that Japanese manga are, for whatever reason, inherently better is kinda fucking insane! Disregarding the big ass elephant in the room that is Japan trying to annihilate Korean culture and literature, Japan is the patient zero for all “ts” as you put it. And Japan has always been the progenitor for “degenerate” art. Especially when you take into account the fact that after the war, the assimilation of western chastity values HEAVILY incentivized the need for extreme, amoral porn with no substance. Pot, meet kettle. It’s fine if you have a preference between manga, manhwa, and manhua, but saying that Japanese works have more “culture and understanding” is a preposterous thing to say.

Nah this is the end of Korean stories. Most of manhwas contains rape, abuse, Stockholm, and even killings. Like literally, all of the well known manhwas consists either two or more of these genres. Idk why kr authors are somewhat obsessed with ts bruh.
Jp mangas are have more depth, emotions, cultures, understandings, etc. sometimes they have psychological and messed up stories but it's still good unlike this manhwa
