Yes the FL did cheat. The child is theirs I believe, just a big misunderstanding and dumb ass adults. If you enjoy drama, repetitive misunderstandings, both jumping to conclusions and blaming one another over and over, sure!

I think it would be considered cheating in my opinion if your partner wanted to make you jealous by ‘pretending to have an affair’. Cheating is an act of lying. It’s gross and icky. As for the kiss, someone said she didn’t initiate it, so you can say she was SA’ed.
But the overall pretending to have affair is just not it.
Hayden also had to see that so in his perspective, he didn’t have context and so…yeah.
Overall both parents sucked and is energy sucking me, Hayden is innocent.

Hayden saw his mom going to the cabin where the brother in law (landen) was staying.. he didn't see them kissing or anything.. and the cheating part was completely an act to tick off Benedict.. and Rania saw landen only 2 times... And after that she explained it to Hayden and told Benedict about it and the reason for acting this way was because Benedict was continuously calling out "Laura's" (a girl he was in love with who was his teacher and he had physical relationship with this girl before marriage) name in his sleep and Rania thought he was cheating on her... And before marriage Benedict slept with countless women which gained him a very bad reputation amongst the nobles, he was deflowering virgin girls left and right and became famous for being a playboy... Considering his past bad character reputation along with how he was completely neglecting Rania at the time, while calling out some other girl's name in his sleep every night, it was a valid reason to think he was openly cheating on her... And he also kissed laura though it was initiated by laura one of the chapters when Laura came back to claim that she was pregnant with his child.... So in that sense Benedict's actions were way worse than what Rania did at the beginning... He even told his son that his mom fooled around with his brother and gave birth to Hayden, that's disgusting and awful to say to your own kid.. he forgot that he had sex with Rania before he left for the war and that's how Hayden was born.... He was a complete disappointment as a father and a husband at the beginning of the story though with the progress of the story he tried to do better.... he was an absent father and an absolute asshole to Rania while she was pregnant with Hayden, this girl single handedly gave birth to Hayden and brought him up until he was a toddler.. so Rania did most of the parenting for Hayden.... She also sacrificed herself countless times to save both Hayden and Benedict throughout the story..

They were both very bad and miscommunicated heavily, the only one I’m not annoyed with is Hayden.. Also I don’t remember but why did he call out another girl’s name every night? Surely he didn’t like another.
And to be fair, iirc, he was drunk or something drugged and forgot that he slept with Rania. Of course he didn’t believe the son was his, he had his reasons and Rania had hers to have an affair with the other guy because she believed Benedict cheated.

Rania kissed landen once in chapter 3 which was also initiated by landen... She met him twice and the whole cheating thing was fake, an act to make Benedict jealous or tick him off... Landen agreed to go along with this fake act just to seduce Rania in the process but he failed...Landen was obsessed with Rania because he was in love with her since childhood and Rania was originally supposed to be married to landen but Benedict's Dad tricked landen and married Benedict off to Rania just because Benedict said Rania was the most beautiful girl he ever saw in his life...and since then landen had a grudge against Benedict because Benedict didn't even love Rania but he still got to marry her and kept being neglectful or indifferent towards Rania...
Benedict was never drunk or anything please don't make up new stories as you wish if you didn't read the manhwa.. he forgot his first night with Rania because he has some physiological trauma from his past because of landen and landen's mother.. and while he was in war he was going through stress so his trauma resurfaced... But he went to the war because he wanted to die anyway..he saw no reason in living his life after losing his interest in everything.... he genuinely loved this Laura girl but as he was a nobel he wasn't allowed to get married to low class or any person who is an illegitimate child... So this Laura used him as she pleased and left a big scar and emptiness in his heart that's why Benedict couldn't love Rania.. and continuously disregarded their marriage and left for war while Rania was pregnant... While he was at war, He got a letter from Rania telling him to come back safely from the war because she was pregnant ....and as he forgot that he had sex with Rania he thought she fooled around with someone else while he was in war and completely neglected her request to come back but when he finally came back after the war was finished, he saw a toddler Hayden and couldn't neglect Hayden because the baby was so cute and called him Daddy... Benedict was the reason for their marriage being so shaky from the start.. and then suddenly Laura his ex appeared with a fake child that looks like Benedict and claimed thats his child.... And Benedict let them stay in his mansion but in a separate place... He knew the child was fake but he couldn't prove her wrong... And this created more problems and dramas... People started saying Hayden is a bastard son and accused Rania of vulgar things while Benedict was in war and laura was going around showing off the fake child everywhere so everyone thought thats Benedict's real son and everyone knew his character, being a player and sleeping around with different girls every night, so people believed it.. the problem was solved but it created more drama in their life....and Benedict finally started seeing Rania in different light and would get jealous here and there whenever Rania ignored him... And his feelings developed more and more like this...
So instead of making up new facts and stories read the manhwa or just don't say anything... Its very annoying seeing new readers being misled like this...
People keep saying the cheating thing is fake but the whole point is that cheating is an act of lying which Rania committed regardless.
