the quote itself is mocking. the people of makkah asked the prophet muhammed to bring a mountain towards them to prove that hes a prophet, but it did not work. so the prophet himself went over there and people ran with this little event to ridicule arab/muslims as in they're "stupid"

im not blaming anyone either because clearly this quote can be said and brushed off since its not known, but as someone who has studied islam this quote is disrespectful and mocking and its bringing out some ugly colors in others when they get called out..

This is the internet. Everyone is offended by everything. But asking to add religious proverb to something that is considered immoral isn't being offended, its asking people to be respectful towards people's beliefs. It's not much to ask
i know reading bl isn’t exactly halal, and i’m not gonna pretend it’s not a flaw. but using a quote that casually mentions the prophet Muhammed in a mocking way is a whole different level and that’s not just personal struggle, that’s crossing a line with something sacred. i get that fiction isn’t always perfect, but there’s a difference between reading something with flaws and is haram by nature, and seeing something that disrespects your faith straight up. one’s a weakness, the other feels like an insult
