A (mid) webtoon getting axed is not that frustrating, but a webtoon with a solid plot, good pairing and improving art direction being rushed due to the lack of popularity frustrate the heck out of me.

I can tell the amount of effort and love invested into creating this series. Sometimes I question how some webtoons can go up to 500 chapters, but this couldn't even sustain 100 chapters. Some commentors said it might've been more popular if it wasn't tagged BL, and I kinda agree. (E.g The summer Hikaru died wasn't as popular when it was tagged BL by scans, but it became mainstream after the tag was removed) The focus on action didn't fare well with BL readers, but the BL tag drove away many general audience that likes this kind of genre. I'm very happy this got adapted, but it's also sad there's only a few gacha-format BLs getting adapted compared to the countless BG gacha novels.

The main saving grace for me is that it's adapted from a novel, and that is completed properly.

This webtoon ended a year ago and I bought some chapters to show support. It's not much but I hope my water droplet in an ocean can go into the wallets of the creative team that brought a beautiful series into picture format.

Please don't mind me, I'm just lamenting why I'm not a rich kid that can sponsor an entire series by myself like that pair of twins in China who sponsored the Omegaverse drama(I'm ngl they are my idols). We need more rich heiresses in this genre ╥﹏╥

I like this manwha since the plot is interesting but I’m not surprised it got cancelled. Looks wise it’s not that great, the action scenes aren’t impactful, the monster designs are pretty basic, and even for a BL it’s incredibly light on the romance.
