Have u seen the way he talked ever since they met? He speak straight as an arrow but the way he acts doesn't match it which is why juheon got confused & annoyed. He didn't even sit down & talked abt his problem managing his emotion to juheon. Plus don't compare it to other "criminal" yaoi tops bc this is not even the same genre （￣へ￣）

Yeah, I think that's what gets me the most. In other series, usually the awful things done are rape, assault, abuse, or cheating, yet they usually don't get much punishment or redemption arc. Dohu's crime is not disclosing that he gets close to someone for writing inspiration. That's it. Without context, you would think Dohu has done so much worse seeing how many people still placed the blame solely on Dohu, as if this is a deserved punishment. Even if you think Juheon has been wronged, it doesn't mean he is right for treating Dohu like this. Two wrong doesn't make a right.

& that's all he did... Speak honest & didn't do anything except that. Not doing anything to mend their broken trust or at least befriended juheon. All he said is "I love u romantically" & then what? Juheon cares abt Dohu bc he still has the lingering feelings for him but trust has been broken what di u expect?

He's being autistic was known by the readers but not the characters. Not even dohu knows it. He knew he had problem managing his emotion. But if he still doesn't communicate with juheon, how will juheon knows. & Juheon fell for the autistic side of him btw except he didn't expect Dohu to used him

What else should he has done then? Enlighten me. Here is the list of stuff Dohu has done since then. He tried to talk, get close, declare his love multiple times, asking him for 5 dates, helped him move his stuff, defended Juheon from the bully by taking his drinks.

In contrast, this is what Juheon has done. Pretended not to know, refused to meet or having proper conversation, dismissed anything Dohu has said, asked him to quit the project, groped him while saying all Dohu cared is sex, blocked his phone number, ignored him when Dohu took all the drinks for him, didn't even care enough to check if Dohu was fine and let him wandered 20 mins drive time away from the party. Even I don't treat my enemy like this.

Didn't talk abt his problem. Juheon told him he has trust issues. He had all the time after he fell for him to come clean but he didn't. Bc he didn't understand his feelings. Juheon had to know from others. Dohu was the one came to him for reference & pretended to be lovers. He only apologize when Juheon asked for it but then he didn't even give further explanations. Even after they meet again, he only said "I love you" "why are u being jealous? You're the one I want" no explanation at ALL. Dohu still has a problem to understand his emotion & right now, the only thing he knew that he love juheon but he still needs to kearn how to make it come across juheon.

For juheon, he can do wtv he wants bc the one who got betrayed was him. He left for 4yrs was bc of his family & he decided for no contact bc they already fall apart

Ik lol but it was not blown away out of proportion as you said. Those yaoi focused on more the criminal parts. Plus some bl authors never considered any of their characters mental health bc they never cared abt that & all the characters are crazy. This is a story that revolves around their personalities & feelings more

just be real it wasn't a big deal you said he he should have come clean etc but u need to understand dohu dont understand emotions he thinks logically that juheon will be hurt i love him anyway so why hurt him.. that was his thinking he didn't take it into account that juheon will make that big deal out of it and for dohu .. juheon ghosted him .. juheon didn't talk to him his family problems etc he also didn't come clean to dohu .. or i wouldn't call this betrayal its more like misunderstanding which can be talked through .. but juheon is not even ready for that
