I was only 20 at the time (yeah, young people indeed), but I was still tired. That’s when I realized I couldn’t control other people, so after reading the manhwa, I just logged out and stopped checking the comments. We can’t control other people, but we can control how we behave.
This story has such an interesting plotline, and I still want to keep up with it sooo bad even though there’s rape in it. Most people’s reactions are valid, I think it shows they’re still “healthy.” WE CAN KEEP READING WITHOUT JUSTIFYING THE RAPE, right? People are literally talking about it nonstop because we never know how far a story can influence someone into thinking rape is “okay.” It’s lucky that most readers here still understand it’s wrong and wouldn’t ever do it, but what if the story reaches the wrong kind of person?
Yeah, I know it’s not my responsibility and I probably shouldn’t care this much. The issue lies with the person themselves. But at the very least, comments like these can act as a warning for people who might consider doing something like "that" in the future or even stop someone from doing it. We never know.
