Idk why this comment got downvoted so much because I agree and it's true! Relationships are 2 way streets! He let himself harbor feelings one-sidedly instead of facing it head on and talking to his friend about it. I get how it's just how the story goes but itl, it really isn't just on the blonde. He didn't cross the gap either.
It's not because he didn't develop feelings, that's what i'm saying, it's because he's now saying hey give me two months and i'll try. Obvs being third parties we can see it from blondie's pov, but also from sec's pov he has a right to be upset because to him it's pointless and the guy is trying to put him through all this extra pain and suffering for nothing. I got rejected by my former best friend last year and i know for a fact he was good enough to have never asked that of me, and I hadn't liked him for 12 YEARS (/TДT)/ just saying secretary has a right to be upset even if we understand where blondie's coming from and it upsets me seeing people put him down for it thinking he's blaming the guy for not... liking him? Which i just don't think is happening at all
I remember Jooan saying that Seojoon might as well love him for doing the extra mile for him. So Jooan is capable of knowing Seojoon is not an ordinary secretary and might not even a normal best friend, but chooses to dismiss thinking more critically why Seojoon would do that. Ya'll can crucify Seojoon for not directly saying he loves Jooan but he did put on the work to show it. Jooan just happen to barely cared to interpret or notice because he was chasing someone else and confidently assumed Seojun was just there for him.

But you both were within reach so why are u only blaming the blondie? You yourself never did anything to progress your relationship I understand it's hard that when the person u love is in love with someone else but the mc have already rejected him and I don't think blondie did anything wrong I mean how would he just suddenly know that his best friend has a crush on him it's not like he can read minds... You gotta tell him first to understand
