He has quite a victim complex not towards his abuse, but towards his sister. She literally painted her as a child abuser to the lawyer, he said to himself everything was her fault and she should have died and that is what people are referring. They are not the same at all. His sister slapped him after he said she should have died instead of their parents, he on the other side emotionally abused his sister for years with that behavior (that was due to trauma, but that is a explanation not a justification)
She was actually a very good sister considering she was forced to raise him from such an young age, was abused too, was dealing with her brother telling her she should die and treating her as if she was the source off all his misery while she was doing everything just for him. After one slap cause he said she should be dead when she was also a teenager. A lot of people would actually have left him at the auntie and dipped. She raised him and no time after years of him shutting her up she gave up on trying to bond with him.
even though you’re right I guess from my pov not justifying behavior but I feel its strange to call either the mc or her brother people with victim complexes / abusers seeing they went through so much. It feels like we aren’t seeing the character from an empathetic light enough just because he’s annoying and also lashed out on his sister unfairly. (And I feel that the brother will have character development anyway once he awakens from his coma. I hope since he’s all mc has left) if it makes sense.

ep 29. i feel sorry for the brother but holy victim complex. like u have sooo many other people u should be hating to death but u choose the one person in the same boat as u, that might also be the only one that actually cares for u?
