Whatever the anime showed was just filling in what the manga did not already write yet. That's why season 2 exists and that's why the anime (after the grim reaper arc) is not canon because it is filler. For what? Money basically lol. That's also why in the anime the introduction of Sebastian and his true form is interpreted in different ways because it was not revealed in the manga yet until recently.

Oh yeah I definitely got that. It's happened to a lot of animes. Thats why I'm greatful for the OVAs and the movie. But I was talked about the mangas inconsistencies. they showed all of them being hired at the same time yet we just saw mey rin get hired recently. IDk it was long ago in the chapters (44) so maybe they just forgot when drawing the recent stories

I read the chapter you were referring to, and it seems to follow what happens. It shows Mey-rin being handled by Sebastian as we saw and Finn bein discovered at the scientific building. I think they showed all 3 together, just to demonstrate how they arrived and how they were before now (present)

Iiterally wrote an entire long ass comment before expressing how kuro’s plot advances and remains interesting and unique throughout and has amazing characterzation. You can prob still find it lol
