Well to me, Ed’s way of thinking / his actions that caused his fight with McQueen are absurd. And if the author can’t explain how a character came to x conclusions, i find that unrealistic.
Same for Chang’s actions.
And they do that in most yaois. MCs just getting out of nowhere with conclusions that are just out of place. Personalities that are out of place.
Or stuff like : oh my god my heart is beating so fast, am I in love?
It’s possible that someone act like that, but it is very unlikely, and yet it’s overused in yaoi. And it just makes the story less relatable, and if the author uses too much of these uncommon behaviors. It goes to a point it not realistic anymore.
Of course my idea of realistic comes from my life experience. That doesn’t mean i am narrow minded. Because otherwise, i’m narrow minded unless my opinion is : every story is realistic.
To all those saying : omg this story is so real.
I hope you realize that this story is pretty much Insulting to rape victims.
