Pedo alert

I mean it wasn't bad and the art was beautiful but no way in hell naoki wasn’t a predator on this one, minato reminding him of his old classmate doesn’t make it any better.
And the prez unknowingly did a good one by separating them on that coming of age ceremony rendez-vous, cuz meeting him again at 18 is only legal on paper but exudes major Drake energy in real life which is hella creepy when you think abt it

Nah the coming of age ceremony was his high school graduation, so he was around 18-19. But the fact that he made a promise with a middle schooler alone is highly problematic, that’s a literal child..

no questions on the promise thing but u see u cant join the "coming of age ceremony" if ur, not 20 in japan. 18 year olds are effective as adults in 2022

Coming of age ceremony in japan is held in January. Highschool graduation is in march.

I'm pretty sure he was 15 when they met in 2009, coming of age happened in 2015 so he should be 21 by then. The dates were indicated in the chapters.

Look, I liked the story for the most part and the art was beautiful but y’all need to stop acting like the beginning of their relationship wasn’t problematic.
Minato was in his third year of middle school when they met, so he was 13 going 14, when he promised him to meet him in his coming of age ceremony he was still in his hometown, meaning he didn’t start college yet, but maybe I’m wrong on this one, anyways that was supposed to be 6 years later, making Minato 19.
And now yeah, minato was then legal but that doesn’t make it as okay as some of y’all are making it out to be.
Now I know their love was genuine and all, but in real life that would scare the shit out of me if my 13 year old friend made a promise with some adult guy in his late 20s to meet him 6 years later and the adult taking it seriously and looking forward to it. I’m sorry but how can you fall for a KID when you’re this old and want to be called normal.

Now I’m not saying the story is bad. It’s a good story with beautiful story telling and art. However just because you like the story doesn’t mean you have to justify the problematic aspects of it and acting like it’s normal when it’s not. Stop acting blind to it.
You can like the manga and acknowledge its problematic aspect at the same time.

Predator? He literally rejected the pretty boy because he was a kid.

Lah idc if this comment was 2020 but you a dumbass for calling someone a predator when in fact he waited for him to literally grow up
