It's also difficult to explain the plot holes and how disturbing this novel is without talking about the ending of the novel and what the manhwa changed so... If you really want to see more detailed arguments however, go on the discussion forum of novelupdate. They covered everything from the treatment of PTSD to the victim blaming. To summary however, this is not so much about Ruve being the ML than the way it was done. I liked I don't want to be Empress or Lady to Queen for instance, when the plot is quite similar. But this one is doing all the clichés and twisting them in the worse way possible.
