That’s why I love this character so much! Including the author! Like she knows her limitations but still find ways that her abilities can achieve. Their romance is not even rushed which I love. I hate the trope where they meet and instantly the ML fall in love. It’s slow paced and it gives this manga an even deeper character. He’s not falling in love just because she’s pretty, but because of her skill and renowned confidence and I LIVE FOR THAT! So I totally understand what you mean

I don't have the impression that she is inferior to the rich powerful vengeful ML at all.
Despite being lower status and having less power than him she displays an attitude of reason, pride, diginity, determination, tranquility and inner emotional strenght!
And the ML does not treat her like shit or manhandling her at all. He does tease her but we also see that he gets shaken up by her. I mean how many times have you already witness the trope where a dark haired ML Prince has threaten, intimidate or humiliate the FL with his superior strenght + wisdom and practically dominates the relationship after woring down the disinterested FL?! Coersion.
I really dislike these Alphaholes in "The Justice of Villainous Woman" + "The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass".
Daisy and her ML Killian are on equal footing. She is more consequential and unwavering than the MC in "The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion". Raelina is a good character but she still gets easily mentally swept away by others (males).

The MLs in “ The Justice of Villainous Women” and “The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass” when they both see the FL, they immediately doubt her skills and only show respect or what I call “gentleman aura” to them because of their beauty and/or gender. Not because of their abilities or intelligence. While for the ML Killian like what you said, He thinks of themselves as equals. He is aware of her and acknowledges that she could be a threat. He doesn’t think of her as a “ simple-minded person(which all ML in every manga that I read think about a woman or mainly the FL)” but as a partner.
For Daisy, I also agree with you she is also consequential and unwavering. She stands for what she wants and try to find a way to make it work.

What's the point of a strong smart FL, if she still gets pushed around/intimidated by others and always gets saved by a very arrogant jerk who also causes indirectly her suffering.
Usually a FL tries to empower herself by any means and distances herself from the toxic ML but he keeps undermining her position/actual goal by pursuing/stalking against her will. And in addition there are countless evil jealous bitches targeting the FL because the most desired bachelor chose her. It never occured those dumb bitches that they have issues to take care of or that the ML is not worth their time! You should see how many manhuas haved used this unhealthy messed up overused tropes and storylines already!
I have mixed feelings About Raeliana: She is capable to defend or save herself but there are moments where she can't say no or gets lead on by certain "possesive/obsessive" male characters especially the dark ML. She is still better and competent than the incapable MC in "Everything was a Mistake". Fun fact: The novel's heroine is the one who is assertive, couragous and resourceful! She is the one who moves things around not actually the MC/FL.
My favourite bitch queen of all time who can break the spirits of shitty MLs: Melissa from "Beware of the Villainess". I sometimes imagine her being the sister of Bakarina and Cale the Trash Count ^^
Before discovering Melissa there were the gems "The Peerless Alchemist" and Rachel from "Slow Life Prison" :)
Why you should read this:
Peerless Alchemist is a sassy fun loving queen who has a male waifu. And her two mounts a wolf and deer are so gay for each other ^^
Rachel is a functional lazy sociopath who enjoys her vacation time in prison full with her stuff and is still able to torture the dumb prince aand his entourage from the comfort of her cell ^^
And I like to recommend "The Pet Of The Villainess" because this story is about empathy, empowerment and liberation of serveral fleshed out characters becoming more stronger and endearing together! ^^

Oh I really like 'I became a Villianess Empress', 'A Stepmothers Marchen', and not a reincarnation but 'Emperor and the Female Knight', and 'Gorae Byul'. Gorae Byul is so beautifull I highly recommend the Fl is so soft but so sharp at the same time.
I like the "I became a Villianess Empress" better than the logic and world building in "It Looks Like I’ve Fallen into the World of a Reverse Harem". In the latter the reason why the MC is stucked in this game as the Villainess Queen is because her real life stupid spoiled sick sister made a deal with a dumb god.
I appreciate "Emperor and the Female Knight" but it is hard to watch to see her to keep struggling alone as a plain woman most of the time and her power/position still depends on the blonde emperor.
"Kingdom of The Queen" is so much more empowering and badass because several female characters from different background are fighting with all their might against many male assholes/the patriachy !!! ^^
And there is also "Peerless Alchemist" about an op female badass queen literally punishing every men who tries to harm her because she is a girl ^^

I really acnt stand FLs, who make an 'plan's to avoid MLs or not antagonize people who they antagonized in the past but also put themselves in their path and then get attached to them once more. Like I read the summary of the novel you gave and from what it seems like she'll probs end up with him again, only this time he'll seem more nice bc she's better now in that case should we forgive them? Maybe but the FL doesn't even think about that, instead the ML takes one slightly romantic look at them and they go kyah I want revenge on you, while being passionately hugged by the ML who is still exactly the same but only now likes her cause she as you said slightly more interesting. I have read some where she makes sure to get the ML she wants, ergo not the man she married or followed in the past life and in those the MLs are always more respectful and arent cold but rather observant of people, even though they dont know the FL theu still stalk to her respectfully and hear her pit and then they give her more respect after they hear her plans not just because she's the lady they are interested in or desire.

By the way, I have conflicted feelings about the story "The Lady and the Beast".
Here we have a great badass FL who killed the man/king she once trusted and loved. She died of old age and gets reborn over a hundred years later with all of her past memories and meets the ML who is very likely the reincarnation of the man without the memories who betrayed her and was unintentionally cursed by her. The ML falls in love with her and after lots of rejection, denial and drama FL confess her love for the man who has the same face of her once beloved King who ordered/pushed her to kill him...
I don't know what I should really think about this complicated mess of a emotional rollercoaster. There is the debate, if he/ML/Duke is still considered the same person as the King of FL's former live in that universe.
I personally think reincarnations deserve chances, they arent the same people regardless of the fact that they share a face and perhaps fate, but theres different pressures and ideas now and they can have different thoughts...

I'd add another recommendation here, ya'll read Ebony. A great story of female empowerment, breaking shackles and learning how to stand on your own two feet. Watching Ebony grow from a hollow shell to a glorious intelligent woman is exhilarating. The ML is a very interesting character who wants to uproot the system. Great shit.

My problem with the Duke's daughter is that the MC has become more and more melodramatic and anxious + the ML has to be the prince/older brother of her douche ex-fiance. I am getting really tired of the prince charming saviour type and that the ML has to be part of the royal family/monarchy. I ve read also the translated novel.
About Stepmother's Marchen... I like the aspect that the church is the antagonist but I am bothered by the fact the MC Shuli is too young for a stepmother, the men around her only help her because she resembles an incredible lovely woman they were all in love with, the eldest step son has feelings for her who is the son of the dead father who was in love with the FL's older dead doppelgänger, the black haired ML whose father also had a crush on the pinkhaired famous lady, the prince is obsessed with her because she looks just like his late mother and the main head of the church is actually targeting her because of her resemblance with the lady he had surpressed feelings for... Duh....
Everything is actually about the lady Ludovica...
Even though the MC displays competency in the end what saves her are many men in her life/behind her back who are connected to Ludovica...

But deadass I was annoyed that the ML of duke's daughter was the first prince, I had hoped that the new character was some unknown dark horse. But for what's worth, I've heard that the she'd ultimately stay as feif lord with the prince ditching his royal identity.
She is not that of a typical cute delicate clumsy female protagonist.
There is really sth relatable, mature, empowering and progressive about her despite her limitations and being an ordinary person without any special abilities.
She is not a reincarnator, transmigrator, rich heir of a dukedom, hidden saint or lost princess who attracts easily MLs of all kind.
She may be the distant descendant of a magical being/entity that allows her to suddenly rewind time but that's it. So far she has been very diligent and compentent in her own way.
