Uh I think they are just sex buddies but not officially. Well I hope I'm not going to spread fals information ( I will look into it more after writing the reply and will probably update my reply after it ) but if I remember it correctly rape is something the a lot of people in japan kind of romanticise and if I'm being honest I think it's more of the man rather than the woman that romanticise it (sorry to say that but I wouldn't even be surprised). So it's not even surprising that a LOT and if I say a LOT I seriously mean a LOT of storys have rape involved in them.

Okay, I have done some research and in fact rape isn't technically romanticised. It just that the term of saying no also can mean yes and that a lot of males think that when you say no they have to show more dominance (it can happen regardless your gender or sexuality), complete bs but hey. So you would have to make it very clear that you don't want to continue but it may only help when you are in a relationship with that person because in japan rape is something that happens to a lot of woman.. regardless their age and not only woman even little boys (I know it happens everywhere and there probably is an other place where it even happens way more than in japan but that doesn't make it better) and what I forgot to at in the beginning is that it's said that japanese people don't think rape is something that can happen when you are in a relationship. So making it really clear that you don't want to continue will maybe help when you're in a relationship.

Goshhh.. that was fuck up how they determine 'No' in relationship. But like u said 'if they on relationship', but what make it angry when they are not and just like the other person one sided. Mann.. it's really not ok for that. Especially like this manga where seme is his bff. Someone uke trust. How can he be like that. There should be gap to act dominance in relationship or in friend.
