You know what would be funny? If the FL crossdressing was ACTUALLY their gay awakening. Like they started accepting/romanticizing a life together with this "boy" and when it's revealed that FL was crossdressing... they realize that they were just gay.

The characters are one dimensional, and it doesn't help that the MC is as interesting as a slice of bread.

The only reason why I read this is because it's human nature to care about someone being faced with injustices (i.e. being demonized for having black hair, dark-type magic)

There's too little conversation and too much thinking to read. This girl is so boring she's always having an uninteresting, internal dialogue by herself. I know that us readers normally think/talk to ourselves, but it just doesn't work for storytelling.
