all that talk about bi, gay, hetero.
I do not want to disappoint you but just because a man has gay sex does not make him gay right away. it is more about sexual satisfaction and pleasure than attraction to the same sex. Curiosity doesn't make you gay. Because it feels good it doesn't need a name.
also men in a heterosexual relationship like it from the back and because it's more authentic they want the real thing.
and in relation to the manga:
I do not know the whole story of their relationship, but the ex has drawn clear lines. He prefered less emotional attachment, wanted only sex, just from behind, with no eye contact. I do not know if he has an identity problem, but all I know is that he is a nasty guy and the scene after the reunion makes me really angry.
Reminds me of these hateful women / men / ex / people whom one sees again after eternity, who wish that only bad things will happen to you. Who want to make you look bad infront of people, who probably want to take revenge on you, but for most of it, just want to humilate you because destroying someones happiness feels great for them. Disgusting.
Yeah, and that's what he did.
What an asshole.

"all that talk about bi, gay, hetero.

There is no magical number of sexual encounters that decides one sexual orientation. It's not like, "I'm not gay unless I have sex with a guy 50 times within a 3 month period!" or whatever. You don't need to have *any* sexual encounters at all to be gay, bi, hetero, pan etc.
While there are men who have sex with each other for reasons besides physical pleasure and/or emotional connection, Yuuya isn't one of them. This manga presents him pretty clearly as a self-hating queer, albeit in the most over-the-top and simplistic way imaginable.

It is obvious that I don't have to have sex to determine/know my sexual orientation. I saw no need to write about it.
However, first of all it wasn't my Intention to write a report or an explanation regarding this topic and it's still not so, I was more focused on those comments with the "who has sex with a man is gay"-theory.
At one point I can't completely agree with you. For me it's still to vague to call the EX an self-hating-queer.
And I will stick to it, whatever the reason, he's an ass.

I barely pay attention to the tags. What counts is the art and the story. What we have here is a mix of history and fantasy. Long long time ago it wasn't uncommon that children got sold, raped or married. Even homosexuality was respected in the noble circles.
And even without the shotacon-tag I knew what will happen. It's a yaoi manga, the boy is the main protagonist... No reason to be surprised.
I'm really curious how this story goes on. Really.
(I have always brought "shotacon" in connection with garbage like boku no pico or those mangas/hentai with little boys looking like girls and are obsessed with sex; no story, just great exaggeration.
So it feels a bit off to me, to see the "shotacon" tag...^^)
Nowadays it's pretty normal that 12year old kids have sex, on their own free will and that seems less disturbing, huh.

Personally I've though that the love story will concern the blue king and the red king. I didn't pay attention to the summary that's why. Because the art was too good I wasn't aware of what was going on until the sexual scene between Sage and the Blue king. So, I do think a tag is really important.
Even if this sort of thing was common at this period, not everybody can handle something like that - specially if there is an explicit content.
And I don't know in which country you are, but having sex at 12 with an adult isn't common at all - most people will have sex for their first time between 15 and 18, and with someone of their own age.

That's why I said "most people" ; the average age in France is 17. I do not know anyone of 12 doing such thing, expect one of my friend who has been raped.

I agree, but some people just want to create attention. All manga lover reading these few chapter already know what happen...even if people don't tag or whatever...and like we said it's a fantasy/drama/romance/historical...so it annoy me when some people call us pedophile when I'm just trying to read a manga, trying to understand the story, and how it goes...and i totally agree with you on 12 yrsd can have consent to sex..cause generation of kids after generation of kids..they just keep getting smarter...-..-
Finally it's over!
