My take on this is that Tae Joon went through something traumatic in his childhood (possibly sexual abuse, hence the hands appearing and touching him in an explicit way) and is repressing it because of PTSD. Yeon Woo was, probably, involved to an extent and could have expected a different reaction since the old Tae Joon would've reacted in a different way even with the knowledge of what had been done.

The main seme was vile. Arrogance, cheating, rape, threats of confinement and all around horrible behaviour excused as emotional instability and immaturity.
