I don't think his sister is actually watching him as a ghost... it's his subconcious, he is conflicted because of his feelings for the girl and also his grudge he has with humans, maybe this dream is, in a way, him talking to himself, to try and put his thoughts in place. Who she should prioritize, honoring his dead family or acknowledging his love for the girl? ╮(￣▽￣)╭ (just my interpretation tho)

There is actually an old story (I know there's a manga, probably has a novel too) that goes by "silence" that does involve a guy locking up his friend and abusing him! It's a weird coincidence, or maybe this story is actually referencing it/was inspired by it? (￣∇￣") never read the original tho

It's more than just smut, and while it does focus on homosexuality, it's so much more than that. It's about struggles, it's about accepting, it's about overcoming. It depicts emotions in such a raw way, it makes you sick.

The story starts off in a gruesome way, already hitting you in the face with SA, and the main character's state of mind is portrayed in a realistic and beautiful way, how he is fucked up in the head after being a victim of a kidnapping and rape is. The way that in the start of the story he's shaken up having visions of his abuser, then towards the middle where he seems to be "better" and towards the end where it all goes down and he gives up on being "sane", going back to meet his abuser.

It's a sad, melancholic story that is made to shake you to your core as a human being and question the morality of the situation. The scenes where hyung gets panic attacks and downfalls are all too well done. You can feel the character's emotions, you can relate to him, you can understand him. Not such a satisfying end but one he deserved. I think the author should have dragged out more that ending part, as it turned out to be too brief and quick, seems a bit rushed even.

I liked the title chosen for the story too. It fits well with the theme. The Ouroboros serpent is meant to be a positive symbol that represents unity and the natural eternal cycle of destruction and re-creation. The part where it shows the most is in the chapter where hyung, when he came home late night drunk, SAs Boguk while he was sleeping. The way he repeats all the words that people said to him back at Boguk, who also suffered from SA in the past, really makes you see the "never ending cicle" of abuse and violence. Healing and moving on at the end shows how after theres destruction, there is re-creation.

Great writing. It's a good book. (▰˘◡˘▰)

The main couple's relationship is toxic, the mc is pure trash (his friends are right, he has to fucking stop hurting jae oh) and the ML is so shitty for leading the mc on then tossing him aside and making him just a casual fling when he was broken and desperate for his love... and then when I think there will be a happy ending where the mc moves on and stays with jae oh (who is the only one who puts up with his shit) and rejects that asshole of a ML, they go into a manipulative and cohersive relationship based off of threats and fuck it all up again

Can you tell I'm pissed off? I'm really pissed off, but the story is good on this note, I reslly resonate with the emotions portrayed, and its an addicting read. It shows how flawed the main guys are as humans and how emotions take control of us and makes us change, like when jae oh said to the mc "I don't even know who you are anymore", it twists our personality in the name of love, slowly turning into a sick situantion where love becomes obsession...

For those who are thinking of dropping because of the octopus, I think this chapter (8) will be the last one that the mc has sexual intercourse with the little monster... after that its just the dude and they take care of the octopus as if it was their baby, lol

I also was a little uncofortable with the idea of the octopus having sexual relations at the start, but the story is actually so cute and it progresses into such a wholesome relationship between the two guys... It did not disappoint, and the ML's dad (the gray haired old man) is supportive of them, so cute, so lovely! (づ￣ ³￣)づ

What... what. Why did I read it all... and why does this author seems like they have some kind of fucked up fetish? All their stories are so morally wrong, my theory is that the author actually has some kind of mental problem. #－.－)

Unpopular opinion but I can't like the MC at all, like when he fucked them at the same time for the first time at the start I got so angry, like bro ik you have no intention of commiting to one person but you are such an asshole for toying with people's feelings, honestly would read a story like this if it was just the MC and Jinyeong, because I feel my man has been neglected when he truly loved the mc, and now the glasses guy looks like endgame and I'm fucking pissed (￣ε(#￣)Σ like, if you dont want him them give him to me!! I want him!!
