Something about this I can connect to it much more then other manga. Maybe because I used to ramble about space to the person i liked in hs. I was obsessed with the planets, nedulas and meteors specifically and he would match my enthusiasm and hold conversation about it when others would not be interested. IDK, though, past feelings resurface when I read this and I kinda miss his smile when I talked about the latest discoveries. This manga hits too close to home ( T﹏T )

The mangaka purposefully made it so we weren't clear on who died. My bet is on the father only because, while it could be seen as a one sided conversation for the black haired character, around the end, when he said, "that's good then" and proceeded to take the blonde with him, this seems like he was there there and not in spirit. Unless the spirit will now accompany the black haired guy in life. The flowers are very important as well, they could be a condolence gift or a romantic gift but that's the beauty of the last page, we don't know. Great read to dissect nonetheless

I myself like some strangulation as well (receiving it) so the direction I hope this doesn't take is, "Oh I love you, now I won't strangle you." kinda thing and that's the happy ending. Both tender, deep love and BDSM can coexists in a healthy relationship. Strangulation kink is not for everyone but it's not an evil act.

I am annoyed by both sides, sticking romance into this chapter specifically with either couple of Ereri and Eruri. Levi was very close to Erwin compared to everyone else and his emotions almost got the best of him. I think Levi was one of the few that shined here in the chapter because he had to choose between basically the person he trusts the most and a relatively new soldier with good ideas. It also was subtle but very heartwarming to see him ruffle Mikasa's and Eren's hair, reminding us he really cares for the new recruits(I also liked the flashback of him eavesdropping on Eren and Armin's conversation).
