Yup yup yup I feel ya there. Like she's smart from her awakening, but also like tons of other kids her age she's pretty reckless, kinda clueless, and takes things at face value. Her view is still pretty black and white since she's so young. Unlike regression mc's she's not pretending to be a cute little kid, she IS a cute little kid. Its hilarious and refreshing watching her antics.
Opal's dad is the villain that started it all, like he is supposed to this big shot but couldn't even clear her reputation and even blamed her for it ? And married her to that idiot even after her childhood friend proposed? Clearly a stubborn asshole who uses his daughter as a pawn. The only thing good out of it was that the duchy's people won't starve to death now, still she barely got proper credit for it.
ML is bratty (initially) but with all things considered he and this pair might just be one of the more green & compatible relationship the writer has written.

I see nothing rushed about this. When a story moves with political drama, time skips and showing sort of highlights when there's no other development to show. They've lived this before except what we see are the differences, so idk maybe that's why it could feel rushed
I wonder if some stalker who took the pic will out them before they even begin dating, maybe that stalker is related to the shitty director ?
The plot feels cyclic, a repeat of a similar situation again and again with some minor changes here and there.
Based on the spoilers, it seems that they made the empress and Besa smarter than their book counter-part. Now Besa even seems to have a goal of his own - it seems like he wants the empire to be ruled by humans rather then dragons, a pretty compelling reason if you as me.
Great banter between the leads and dialogues, good characters, so so plot for the most part and meh ending. I really enjoyed the story until we got to the adaline.
