so many people are hating on min gyeom for moving on so fast. it's like they're forgetting that 1) the second love interest was manipulating him from the start, 2) he has dependency issues because he's an abused child and 3) he was drunk when they banged. nothing that happened was entirely min gyeom's fault. it's totally fine to dislike him because of personal preference but as a character his writing is extremely consistent and it makes a hell of a lot of sense.
i really love the LGBTQ+ rep with yuka, and how, while it's not confirmed (or at least heavily debated) that they're trans, non-binary, or gender fluid, they're canonically bi / pan, which i really appreciated

this has been my favorite BL for a while. everything else is starting to feel like redundant porn but this one has this great nuance to it. the perfect balance of angst and fluff and jaeha is such a good character hhhhh. 5 stars, no hesitation

okokok so i'm really close to finishing and i gotta say probably the biggest issue i have with this manhwa is the way they handled minhee. probably every character (except maybe johan) told him to grow up at one point or another, but he is clearly dealing with serious mental health issues. he has impulses to hurt himself and relapses when things go south. and yet everyone acts like he's just being childish?? sure, he deals with things questionably but most of the time it has nothing to do with his maturity and everything to do with his signs of depression, social anxiety, and abandonment issues. not once (as far as where i'm at) has anyone recommended he seek professional help, when he very obviously needs it. what he's going through isn't just something you can cover up with some maturity and a relationship
