anyone has recommendations of a plot similar to this one??? it would be better if its newly released because i probably exhausted most OP MC stories by now ╥﹏╥

I honestly wouldn't mind if romance became a sub-plot. I mean, even Iseul has a crush on Jiwoo -- and I think it's pretty endearing. Jiwoo deserves to be surrounded by people who loves him. It can be a side development that happens on the later stages of the story.

Jiyoung obviously cares a lot for Jiwoo, it's not confirmed if she likes him in a romantic way, but I can be a bit certain that she finds him cute (with the way she dotes on him). I don't think it's a "little brother" treatment, considering she doesn't treat Jisuk the same she does for Jiwoo.

But hey, it can all just be platonic, like with Subin. Maybe that's just how Jiyoung shows her affection because of how soft he is, and besides, Jiwoo blushes at the smallest things (it happens with this friends).

each small arc is always an exciting read, and i never get tired of Jinny's personality --- she's not a boring protagonist... very rarely do i get invested in female mc stories where i HARDLY CARE about male leads or romance. i can just keep following her little adventures for ages. it's a really fitting choice that her main companions are her own spirits!!

If she was going to create a club, she should've thought it out more thoroughly --- her half-assed escape to join a club just bit her back in the ass (≧∀≦)

If she's going to raise him to become a twisted person that could bring the empire to ruins, she should have known that he won't listen to her forever. Their little agreement/relationship is true only up until the rebellion, so his decision to kill the Emperor just to antagonize Charlize makes sense.

As for Charlize, she could have completely brainwashed the prince and made him into her puppet without the ability to think for himself --- but she didn't. Maybe she can't be bothered to take care of him after the rebellion. Or that she knows the prince is too clever, and deep down, she still has a conscience. Either way, she should have seen it coming. You reap what you sow, sister.

THAT'S how you interact with a "love rival". Both of them didn't do anything to incur the other's hatred, and they know it. They acknowledged that the problem is the half-assed emperor who can't commit between personal and political affairs. I'm so glad that mc and the lady had that conversation in secret.

I can't feel sorry for her. At all. Like, she doesn't see the Emperor as a person --- but a fictional character that is supposed to be programmed in a certain way. No wonder your marriage fell off "after the novel ended". He's only supposed to love YOU? I felt so bad for the children when she said that.

Her feelings aren't genuine. Rosaline is right, except for her appearance, she isn't anything like what the female lead is supposed to be. Ella is just obsessed with the novel, she wants to "live" the fantasy. She's has no sense of reality and only knows how to act and cling to "how the story is supposed to be".

"Didn't she care about the Emperor's image?". Y'all hear yourself right now!? Sovie-shit had ZERO respect for HER image when he took home Trash-ta and then treated his Empress as if she is non-existent...... and how the WHOLE empire knows this.

OMG when was the last time I got hyped over a freaking PECK ON THE LIPS!? Even though this is BL, the fact that you won't be bombarded by sex scenes or smut every chapter is a breath of fresh air.
