Did a major fight caused by a misunderstanding get resolved on top of a confession happening within the span of a few panels?? Wow. Usually angst like this drags out for at least five chapters, if not the entire length of the series, lol. Authors just love making Ms. Misunderstanding the personality trait of a BL instead of momentary mood.

I'm happy to see Qu Cheng be explicit about his sexuality, saying "I'm not interested in women so I wouldn't have a child." I feel like that kind of statement isn't prevalent in yaoi for some reason. Not that I ever doubted Cheng's love for Peacock, but it eased some of the lingering doubt that creeps up at the back of my fujo mind sometimes.

In the first volume, the only reason that Kuroi rejected Touma's persistent advances was because he didn't want the person he loved to get involved in dangerous affairs. They've had physical relations for a long time too, despite their occupational differences. Still, I'm hesitant to say Kuroi loves Touma the way Touma loves him -I feel more of a familial love than a passionate one, if anything. Not that subdued love is any more or less than an explicit one, but I do understand Touma's concerns.
Edit: SIKE bitch! He DOES love Touma the same way. So happy I was wrong (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Homesis MC is what? At least in her 20s or 30s in terms of mental age right? She's had multiple lives before this one as well. Even in this current incarnation, I thought she was around 10 years old. Why is she so... helpless? The average preteen isn't so gullible and frail. Makes the MC's personality totally unrealistic and unlikable. Hope to see some character development from her soon; she definitely needs it, especially in the middle of a major war. Yikes.
I absolutely adore it when authors can express passion and adoration between couples without having to explicitly "say" it through words and dialogue. The subtle glances, expressions, and actions between the two men were more than enough to convey that message. They oozed with sensual maturity.
Personally, I don't like saying "I love you" often because I feel that "cheapens" my words. Everyone is different, of course, but it was nice for me to see this reflected in this story.
