Like, watch one (1) single corset video made by people wearing and making them tdy and realize you're so terribly wrong it's not even funny. The corset is shaped to fit you perfectly and actually being skinny makes getting the silhouette a chore and you have to use padding in order to achieve it. It's not actually a garment that lays flat or smth, it's curved on it's own which is why it worked. Small waist was a proportion thing achieved by clever design and a truly tiny amount of ppl -just the most famous socialite- even did tight lacing, for an incredibly small number of years. The actual weight of a person was irrelevant, as was their body shape, so long as you achieve the silhouette you're good, and there was a great number of ways for that. As for the ppl in the comments, you have 0 clue what you're talking about go to ytb and educate yourselves bfr repeating such ignorant beliefs, which were caused by propaganda repeated by popular media. Unlike these days when people attempt to do the impossible and actually change their body shape, back then women used clothing to achieve a false shape, not like anyone gonna see them without a thousand layers anyway.

Why do this when there's an official translation..... it was even being followed till ch54.... it impacts the creator a lot more than uploading the official version....

It's mostly the difference in eras we got into manga that we can't see eye to eye on this. Recently the thinking has shifted so much. Before, fan translations were done until there was an official one out, except for cases in which translation was really far behind and not guaranteed to get to the most recent volumes. As fans wanted to spread the work to people and not harm the creator. The respect for creators has apparently diminished and now many don't care anymore, but I really don't think it can even be called fan translation in cases like this. The sheer disregard and indifference to the creator and their situation disqualifies them as fans. Tho it does seem like it's all the same as we're reading without paying in both cases, the difference and impact is not small.

Don't know why you feel defensive enough to reply, but waiting isn't gonna murder anyone, neither will basic respect for a creator and not stepping over their official releases. I do wonder why you're implying the people on here are all without regard for the ones who create the things they enjoy. I'm not on here guilt tripping people for reading for free but if you don't understand the difference between 'wait for official releases at least' and 'you have no soul for reading illegal' I can't help you.
The firs ch is actually missing, and instead they doubled ch2. The tittle of ch1 is child of god and it seems the scan group missed it.
