They give mixed vibes, but this chapter really gave us more insight about them. It's still weird how they're overly-friendly, but knowing they're all adults with actual families and even sons... I truly believe that seeing this child (Arito looks too young) traveling alone kicked their parental instincts. Since they're special ranks they surely understand better than anyone else how dangerous traveling is, so they might have "picked him up" at least to accompany him on the way... that's at least what I can pick from this chapter.
I do hope they stay as good and friendly to Arito throughout, and maybe see him interact with any of them again in the future? Having allies around the country would be great for him! (Because I do want him to go his way and meet more people)

I'm a Leo like him (our mbti personalities might be diff of course) but I wanted to share a point of view from another Leo here.
We don't even mess up, we fuck up. Big time. Every. single. time. We're proud and act like we have everything under control, things are going smoothly and we gucci, but we're A BIG HECKING MESS. Even when knowing we like someone, clear signs not even "what if...?", WE FREAKING MESS IT UP.
We're extremely insecure. We think about things logically in our surroundings and we're not guided by our hearts (in this case how this relationship would affect Mr. Kang's working environment or Yiyoung's, other relationships, etc). We have our head in the gutter, no matter the age (I'm 22 if anyone was wondering). We have a hard time opening up and relaying our feelings (even though we know we NEED to, we need time, sometimes it won't work out).
He messed up, I'm mad at him yeah. But I also know where he's coming from. I did that too, several times. My baby Yiyoung also jumped the gun on him, but Kang had already messed up so it's only right for him to fix it.
Thank you if you read this long, I'm not defending Kang again just sharing the perspective of a fellow Leo. I hope they talk it through!

There was an attempted rape (the girl was too drunk and passed out) and instead of praising the one who stopped that they COMPLAIN??? THAT THE DRAMA RUINED THEIR LITTLE PARTY??? And then they had the gal to say "you'd have just ignored it and tell us quietly". They're disgusting, Dojin is the only guy worth anything there (Taehwan and Taehee too of course)

Since it's up to 149 chapters (as a comment below says), is there anyone who could possibly spoil it for me? Since it barely updates I'd like to know if there's any progress already (considering it's only been two days - three days since Diane arrived there and it's been 52 chapters already) ┗( T﹏T )┛

I tried tracing back to the original content source because I really want to know what happens next. The webnovel is pretty developed and the light novel only has 2 volumes out, either way I was only able to find Japanese raws for both.
I did find a forum with spoilers for everything but I'd actually like to try and read it myself, has anyone found any (WN or LN) translated? ╥﹏╥

I read all of the spoilers in the forum: https://forum.novelupdates.com/threads/nankoufuraku-no-maoujou-e-youkouso.105591/
The novel link is there somewhere, Japanese only!

Nakyum doesn't have life anymore. He's truly become a lifeless doll who's lost his will to fight. Betrayed and humiliated by whom he loved and admired, humiliated and raped constantly against his will by someone of status whom he can't refuse if he wishes to survive, no place to go to and being surrounded by people who even if they can see his circumstances will judge him and attack him. He's alone.
And Seungho wonders why he's become this way? WHY WOULDN'T HIM? Everything left in him is surely the instinct to survive, any human being would drive at it. Seungho was probably attracted to a boy who had values, his own morals, his own way of thinking... now that he's broken him he's probably angry at him (Seungho himself) the most as he surely knows why Nakyum is acting the way he is - but as the lord he is he'd rather blame Nakyum instead and punish him to relieve his anger.
It's an interesting turn of events, the author really pulled a string I did not see coming but should have expected anyway. It's actually getting good (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ I'm still curious about the assassin since he hasn't appeared yet and how Seungho would react to it (would he actually save Nakyum for the sake of it?)

Someone below made a theory which hinted at Iruma being a reincarnation of the previous demon king, either that of from his lineage, so I just came to add (even if it's obvious) that the previous demon king was human or at least half-human (since the legendary leaf is a sakura tree which is human). It's interesting considering they're the strongest and yet somehow they're humans who are 'legends' in the demon world (only high-ranked demons know of their existence, like Iruma's grandpa).
So now I've got many questions regarding the demon king itself: what happened to him? Was the one Iruma saw a simple illusion or...? If the previous demon king was indeed human or half-human (as our lifespans are short) was he somehow sealed so he wouldn't exactly die? Is Iruma then his reincarnation or has any of his lineage in him? Is that why Sullivan sought him out, maybe as a promise to the previous demon king? Sullivan definitely is hiding something big (I don't doubt his love for Iruma though).
Anyone is welcome to add ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

oh my goodness i was so caught up in the happiness and cuteness that i completely forgot about the sakuras ! you brought up a rlly interesting point omg ! i agree honestly, why else would he know about sakuras? but he also could have just gone into the human world(like sullivan did) and seen them. OR maybe he fell in love and had a child with someone but had to go back(or maybe still there, das why he missing), i think those theories are interesting and plausible !

I feel the same way and that's another good possible theory!
He could have gone to the human world and had a child (possibly Iruma) and confessed such to Sullivan before dying / or whatever it is that happened to him? As such, Sullivan decided to look for Iruma and raise him as the next demon king since he's the actual heir??? Ahhh I love this theory but it seems we'll have to wait a long time and see if anything matches thank you for this ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

yes yes that would be a very plausible reason for sullivan to go ! because also why would he do something so risky when he COULD just adopt a demon grandson, why go through the trouble for iruma of all people too ? i don’t mind waiting because i love this series so much but i hope we find out soon !!(≧∀≦)

The fact that he was changed in a wicked phase might mean two things though: the demon king, after acquiring power somehow (if it's the case) he was able to change his appearance to that of a demon or since he's an actual demon / half-demon his appearance is that of a demon.
In Iruma's case, if he was a descendant, being it from a half-demon (again, being it the case) he would only be a quarter-demon reason why he's able to wield magic but his appearance and three-quarters of him would be human (which we have seen are special beings as they are believed to be legends in the underworld).
Another reason could be, as seen in other works, that half-demons are more powerful than their peers (demons or humans) because of the mix of their blood. Iruma is powerful as a human as well (it might be exaggerated but he has great qualities as human).
That's what I could add as theories (●'◡'●)ノ

At first it might have been portrayed as "he got lucky" but we've seen how much he's grown and how powerful he's actually gotten by himself. Even with his friends' help, him on his own has his own way to handle things and reach out for his own ambitions. I honestly think he's as powerful as any demon and he proves it every time (no wonder Azz is so captivated by him (▰˘◡˘▰))

Leaving a comment for any novel readers who can't get used to this terminology (no offense towards the translator team, thank you very much for taking the time to translate this!)
If you wish to read a translation that uses the novel's terminology, read Reaper Scans' translation! They use the exact terms from there so it's easier to read :)
Is there a novel?! Raws?! Spoilers?!?! Anything works for me, I discovered this today but I'm afraid I won't be able to sleep tonight I need more ┗( T﹏T )┛
I especially can't wait for everyone to know that the 'saintess' is in fact a devil and Lana is the real saintess... there are so many subplots here and it's too good but tHE ANGST
