CAN WE APPRECIATE WHAT A GREAT CHAPTER THIS WAS?
Holy my I'm still screaming, it was perfect. If anything sensei has become even better at her paneling flow and narrative, it was so good! I was immediately drawn by their conversation flow and goodness they're just too attractive both of them ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

We knew it would happen but FINALLY!!! Ijuuin was TOO GOOD to be left alone!!! Yanase is such a likeable character as well, cannot wait for more from this two! Please be happy!!! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

...really, how does the friend know his brother if he's the new kid who just transferred? Damn the plot is getting so good never expected to get this much and I ain't complaining at all ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Any recommendations like this one? I came to it from Solo Leveling (giving the heads up) and I love both very much but I need another one to binge if there's any ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

FREAKING F I N A L L Y

I finished my finals today and this was the best reward to all of my efforts honestly, THEY ARE BABIES THEY ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER!

On another note, I'm so heartbroken for Kaveri. I just want him to finally FINALLY move onto the afterlife. After his talk with the no name (yes I don't even want to write his name, he doesn't deserve it) I just can't even imagine what Kaveri must have felt. He knew just how good River was to not only Kaveri himself but to the no name so he probably feels responsible for River's death (IT WAS NOT KAVERI'S FAULT AT ALL BUT HE'S SO GOOD) so yeah I just wish for Kaveri to find peace in the afterlife far away from that god.

I was very frustrated by senpai this chapter but the reason is that him and I are exactly the same. I have never felt so alike to a character before, I'd bet everything I have and say he might very well share my personality but I won't go as far considering he's a fictional character.

The way he was pretty much already in love with Kisaragi but kept on making excuses on his own to keep him away and overthinking what would come in the future of a relationship that HADN'T EVEN STARTED... that's me. That's why I'll share an opinion for those frustrated ppl in the comment section saying he should just "take it up in his ass".

Yamase-senpai just experienced his transition from being a 'straight man' (at least he thought of himself as only attracted to women until now) to accepting being in a romantic relationship with another man. That's not only incredibly hard to go through but he actively sought advice from Ueda (he ASKED about the situation from someone else). As a Japanese (Yamase-senpai) I found that incredible, since LGBTQAI+ topics aren't openly discussed and much less for someone who is currently transitioning in these realms. Please understand that!

And second of all, let's say in his romantic realm he's attracted to either gender or is a demi (like myself) but that doesn't necessarily mean his sexuality will match his romantic view. I'm a demiromantic but I'm still discovering my sexuality. For him accepting Kisaragi-san romantically might not have been the hardest thing but the sexual part of the relationship (like he showed in the chapter time and time again) is still a situation he's uncomfortable with. I would love to see him talk to Kisaragi and them reaching an agreement on their own, for their own.

I feel like Kotetsuko-sensei is an incredible mangaka and she has the power to educate her audience with more LGBTQAI+ content. She already has great stories and characters and is actively pushing that into her stories. I know BL is not supposed to portray anything realistically, but out of all of the mangaka out there Kotestuko-sensei has always tried creating content that at least leans on a more realistic side and lesses the fantasy aspects of it.

It's my opinion you don't have to take it to heart if you won't wish, thank you if you read this far have a wonderful day and please stay safe out there (=・ω・=)

Can we appreciate Kobayashi-san's friendship with our lovely gentleman? Playing pranks on him even at that age and the fact that the title reads "you never change" made me smile so widely.

I aim to have a friendship as cute as theirs when I'm their age.

After 54.1 I am so happy and full of expectations now. First of all, I'm GLAD the author KNOWS that Heil is the guy we're all rooting for and that we're hating Khaol. The fact that the author herself decided for this to happen and we happily followed through is amazing too. Second of all I am RELIEVED to read that the comic and novel will end up differently, and that the comic WILL be completed unlike the novel. I was so worried because of the spoilers I read but now I'm much more excited to actually see what happens (even though I know a lot of angst awaits yikes) Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

I also agree with the author about not having the student-teacher arc at all, that being her one regret. The novel was much more light-hearted compared to the comic in regards to Khaol's character, so in the comic it doesn't make much sense. It seemed like he started caring for River when in reality he doesn't so it always rubbed me the wrong way.

At the start of chapter 53 when River thinks "this feels horrible but I wish Heil was here. Because he... if it's Heil I'm sure he would try his best to protect me" and it simply hit me SO HARD. Like, HIS GOD HUSBAND WAS RIGHT BESIDE HIM. KHAOL WAS RIGHT BESIDE RIVER, AND RIVER STILL FELT HE NEEDED HEIL BY HIS SIDE AND REGRETTED HIM NOT BEING THERE BECAUSE HE DIDN'T FEEL SAFE WITHOUT HIM. HE DIDN'T FEEL SAFE WITH KHAOL, WHOM HE LOVES. I was speechless honestly. I'm heartbroken for River honestly.

Then I read the rest of the update and I was done. I was done with Khaol altogether, and I honestly just hope River and Heil get revenge on him one way or another. For his family lineage, for betraying him and for everything River went through. River did not deserve anything, it's really frustrating Khaol couldn't at LEAST protect him or treat him decently even if he didn't love him.

And since I've already read spoilers, I just hope River gets a proper ending this time, hopefully with Heil. And that Kaveri can rest in peace, and never go back to Khaol just because HE DOESN'T DESERVE KAVERI.

So I was prepared to come here to comment on how many points Jazz has been earning up lately (he's truly becoming my favorite in all aspects) but Kallego-sensei really up and stole that spotlight right before finishing the chapter. Jazz is still my favorite but Kallego-sensei is probably up there as well, what a MAN ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Are we along the raws or are there any raws??? I'm intrigued!!!
