I'm in chapter 25 at the moment, I just wanted to know spoilers since I'm sure it won't happen right now.
Will he actually get a human body? Or will his soul go back home? Is there a novel or someone knows spoilers about it? Because since he couldn't get his body back it got me thinking maybe his soul would leave this world entirely at some point... I actually enjoy that MC is a skeleton don't get me wrong just curious (=・ω・=)
I see a LOT of hate towards Fenix (Remme's best friend and hero). In the novel you get to see more of what he's thinking as usual, and I won't spoil anything of course.
The main reason Fenix couldn't defend Remme properly was BECAUSE Remme is his best friend. No matter what reasoning he used, he couldn't speak about his real abilities nor lead the others to understand that (due to their promise). So, while Fenix did everything he could to defend him, there are still limits to that. Everyone would think he was just defending him because he is his best friend, meaning, that he their long-lasting deep friendship blinded him. It did not help that Remme didn't say anything either, as if leaving it to Fenix or not bothering with it. Of course, it's not their fault, Remme's or Fenix's. We all know it's the other three, but after years of this continued argument, it makes sense they exploded.
Bella is an EXCELLENT character, I love her very much she's chill but honest and straightforward, to the point she publicly defends Remme and puts the other three in their place, I like that.
And the "hero always win" is actually something Remme said to Fenix when younger. Fenix was overwhelmed by Remme's power and always felt lacking in training and else, but Remme always reassured him and told him that no matter what they'd always win because BOTH of them are heroes. It's very cute actually (▰˘◡˘▰)
Okay, I did spoil a bit? But it's all small details that we probably won't see here in the manga (nothing that can affect your enjoyment of the main storyline) so don't worry and just keep it in mind as extra info (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I always recommend reading from the beginning but it's pretty well adapted, this manga chapter is 19-20 (I recommend it since you get more of their conversation and Bella too).

I watched the first episode of the anime and I was incredibly surprised by the animation quality, it was beautiful. I really enjoyed the realism in the setting and was excited to see it develop as well (it seemed on a more serious tone than most isekai).
But coming here to try and get more into it, I'm seriously disappointed. What a waste of such a gorgeous animation on a work like this. So many incredible isekai that could've been animated instead, tsk tsk. And yes, it's mainly after knowing his dad is cheating on his wife and it was simply glossed over.
imagine if the beginning after the end was animated instead. the quality
This is what I mean, I've got to find incredibly rich stories with compelling characters and unique elements to them that would be incredible when animated; moreover, with an animation quality like this one got. Sad.

I usually dislike misunderstandings as plotline (Maxi and Riftan I'm looking at you), but this one here and When The Villainess Loves' misunderstandings are giving me LIFE. THIS is how you add misunderstandings into the plotline to MAKE IT BETTER, to give it the spice but also not let us feel frustrated with every update. I'm personally enjoying myself greatly ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
