The older brother more than likely loathes him, there was literally a panel in the previous chapter where we see just his smile. More than likely a devious one, seeing their past I'm sure he hates how in a sense his younger brother was favored to a certain degree. Clearly that's not the case anymore but rarely do the brothers ever turn out genuinely nice and loving in these scenarios.

Even if they aren't in fact blood related it makes no difference, the idea that they will in fact be the third couple is disgusting to me for obvious reasons. The main one being, from looking at the raws it seems that Owen was raped by Durant's father of whom he bares a string resemblance to. I still don't know HOW involved Owen was when it came to the deaths of Cinaed's parents and Shahid's father, plus the mother because who had sent those assassins after her and her child? Not to mention the deaths of Albin's family, it just seems like he's too tied up in fucked up shit so I don't think Owen deserved a happy ending, but even then he doesn't deserve to be paired up with his fucking rapist's just as fucked up son. Like I do like this story as messy as it can be at times, love the art style but man if I had to choose a third couple, I'd prefer it be either Dima and Durant or Dima and some other guy.
The art style is still just as good, and is it me or Chansol actually looks bigger? Clearly not like his group members but he doesn't look as idk, skinny as before?
I know a few chapters back he did kind of seem like he was giving in to his very conflicted feelings towards Garon, but that doesn't make the end of this chapter any less confusing. A part of me thinks it's simply because while all he did want was revenge, whatever affection he was given by Garon made the blood lust he once had towards him just disappear. So in the end he didn't want his death, he truly just wanted his acknowledgement that the heinous shit he'd done was bad and that he does feel regret, at least when it comes to the MC (did he ever get a name?) and the killing of his mother. Thus is why I hate the second lead thing so much, Raon did so much for him, he genuinely seemed like he had equally fallen in love so why was he swayed in such a way towards the end. Idk if the manhwa has done a good job with this adaptation since I know this is originally a novel, but man... also does anyone have the link to the novel? If you wouldn't mind sharing the link

Obviously so, it's just that now all the characters look much younger and not as defined anymore which is a shame. If anything the pink hue from last season genuinely bothered me, and I still prefer the art from when the story started in general but it's not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. If anything I'm use to artists coming back and suddenly the characters look much younger.

Like it would have been something if they made him look like a really creepy monster, something more idk demonic since Jade mentioned the bible but he literally looks like a dragon that had toxins spilling from its scales or something.

Now I see why they did all of that to Cinaed's family, he could very well become king if he's able to gain his country's independence again. Also fuck Durant II, I saw the recent raws and if I'm correct, Owen was raped by his own half brother, Durant's father. I'm trying to remember how Shahid's mother died and if it was the original King Durant behind it, or was it Owen's doing. And while they gave a sob story for Owen, if he was behind the deaths of Cinaed's parents, along with Shahid's parents deaths AND Albin's family execution, he can still very well go fuck himself. But yeah the idea that Durant II might end up with his uncle when clearly he's fucking disgusted by the idea, especially since he was raped by his brother (from what I gathered from the raws), doesn't help Durant is the fucking spitting image of his father like jfc. I hate them both so I'd prefer they do not get a happy ending but honestly I wouldn't want Owen to be with his rapist's just as fucked up kid either. Don't know if I would want Shahid to become king either like how Cinaed is hoping, not sure if Devon would be up for the job either as Queen. Also now knowing Owen's backstory, divorce was mentioned between him and Devon's mother, assuming she is dead but I guess his trauma led to him not being a good husband like she snarked about before. Still sad she won't really have a happy ending in terms of finding someone to be with since I'm sure her and Judith were in love with each other.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY HAD A SON!? Not to mention he looks grown, maybe a teenager and not even a child but a perfect combination of the two. I'm gonna need side stories to explain how they ended up with a baby and why do they still look the same while their son looks very much like an adult, or maybe a teenager.
Hwan went from looking extremely creepy to just a really tall grey skinned person. What I'm trying to say is he doesn't look intimidating anymore which is kind of odd lol. Also not to be that person, because I do love that this manhwa is plot heavy but when will we focus more on the original couple.
