I loved this manhwa a lot, such a great story and great main characters tbh. I do hate that Iliyan's father never got what he deserved for the fucking child abuse he inflicted on him but whatever I guess. Also finally seeing the translation for Kyle's parents is so nice. The mom was honestly so different from what I imagined since it seems like Kyle takes after his dad, but she's still very sweet. It's a shame the story ends after this cuz it would've been sweet to see their married life and Iliyan being spoiled by Kyle's parents. Also Gayle looks like he's kinda older than his mom which is wild.
I actually thought this story was cute, really loved the art too. Hoping this artist does another BL soon, whether it's an original story or another manhwa adaptation of a novel. Also was this the actual ending for the novel? It just leaves a lot to be desired, I wanted to see more of these two. I do agree ending it in an almost fight that led to a one sided misunderstanding was very odd. Even if it got resolved in the final chapter.
This chapter was fucking sad, the way I actually teared up when he was crying and begging to see his father again. Poor baby, both of them tbh because Yui's parents seemed nice too but that psychotic fucking brother of his. I swear if by the end of this that evil fucking twin doesn't get the worst ending ever after all the shit he's done, causing the death of his own parents plus Hyun's father. To think this manhwaga usually makes comedy romance stories but this one they decided to make it hurt.
I feel like I'll need to reread it from the beginning eventually cuz some parts are still confusing. Also fuck Seongtae and Jintae's parents, wtf would you send you baby to an orphanage, even if he wasn't planned I'm sure they could've taken care of him. But yeah the next chapters are... definitely don't blame him for essentially murdering those people.
I've been looking at the raws for this one and it's cute tbh. It's interesting that this is a story about a retired athlete and one who is still active as one, they're both university students too. It's sad that MC had to retire because of his injury, but it's nice seeing him get closer to ML, who I believe is someone he's admired for awhile now. And from the raws, it looks like they become friends, and ML's friends and teammates get close and become friends with him too. Anyways so far I'm liking this so I'm excited for each update.
From the raws I does look like at one point ML acts like an ass cuz MC seemed to have caught him kissing who I assume was his girlfriend. Or maybe she was some older woman he was dating? Anyways he seems to act mean to MC for a bit but things calm down between them and the latest chapter I saw ML was being sweet to the MC.
He wasn’t mean to him. From the raws he’s dating an older girl and they were kissing MC saw it, and after that they broke up since the girl was too obsessive of ML (like he is not allowed to hang out w/ his friends at night) and ML doesn’t like obsessive girls. Mc saw them breaking up the girl slapped ML. As a remembrance of his break up they went to go camping in han river, but ML didn’t know Mc was invited by his basketball friends, so he was like you should just join the basketball team if you keep hanging out with them. Mc was like maybe ML was too embarrassed to see him since he actually witnessed the slapping scene MC planned on not joining them camping to avoid being awkward, but ML was like it’s fine you think I’m actually heartbroken or something, he admitted he was actually an anti-romantic type of person, and doesn’t contact his ex gf’s win the relationships is over.

I've been reading spoilers on this one so I ASSUMED it'd be longer but wtf. Why was the manhwa forced to end so abruptly? They literally cut out how much of the original story from the novel.. This is so messed up, I wonder if they overworked the artist (wouldn't be surprising or the first time) so they cut it short or if this ending was always planned for the manhwa adaptation. Anyways this was a huge let down, clearly more should've been shown but whatever I guess. Seems like that's the fate of most BL works
Maybe they had to stop due to a sudden health issue or other problem? Whatever the reason, it really sucks to see this end so abruptly
I was thinking that too, though I feel that also falls under being overworked by the company who puts out these manhwa. It's just a shame because it clearly is written in a way where we as readers expected at least idk 30 more chapters before an actual ending? Especially since the novel still has so much to it.
