Why is mangago watermarking the scans if they weren’t part of the group that scanslated it in the first place? Isn’t that stealing even more so than they already do? At least they could credit the original team... (but it may just be me who misunderstood something - please comment below if I’m wrong or you have something to add)

And then love fell from the sky and shattered...
(couldn't help myself. First chapter looks interesting.)

I had to stop several times during the 6 first chapters because I was cringing on behalf of the MC/uke. The horrible friend. The forceful sunbae who doesn't take an obvious no for an answer. I am going to read it but I seriously hope the situation changes soon so the MC doesn't end up pushed into the relationship but gets to have some time on his own where he can decide whether or not he sincerely wants to date the guy.

I read this one-shot by this mangaka about a a pair of high-school boys. One looks like a delinquent but is a coward and the other looks cute (and acts like it) but is in fact quite strong. The first of the two is onesidedly (it seems) in love with the cuter boy (because the cute one saved him). He is being taken in a kind of black-male-like way by the cute boy... Anyone knows where to find this???

is the author Naono Bohra?

i'm not really sure if this is the right one but it they're one shots before the main story characters who are like you describe. they're also an entirely different story by this author that has somewhat the same description but its a cop and rich kid.

Honestly it was another rape-y introduction sweetened by a confession by the one being raped... I do find the angst in those rape scenes kind of hot but still... I’m torn.
I don’t get how people don’t understand how this is fiction.. you have your beliefs and all but overall. This is still fiction.
Ah I shouldn’t say belief. Obviously rape is wrong but I’m just saying that these stories are fiction.
Rape is wrong and it bothers me how some authors introduce it in their mangas, but this is a smut one-shot that is supposed to be funny, not a story that takes itself seriously. So you shouldn't take the rapey intro seriously either.
Everyone here realizes that this is fiction and that most people would not condone the seme's actions in real life. But being a work of fiction doesn't give the manga an automatic pass for rape. I think that the readers are allowed to question whether or not the rape scene was necessary and discuss how the scene made us feel.
of course they are allowed to, but there are many things in every story that are unnecessary but usually not discussed, i dont see how rape is any different. for example, in action animes/mangas where many unknown townspeople or something are killed, but no one cares
Yeah, I don't consider rape any better or worse than violence/death. They are both terrible. But I can understand why people get riled up about rape in yaoi and not about death in an action anime/manga. Action mangas are focused on fights and the growth of the protagonist/s. If our heroes are fighting against aliens who want to destroy the world, the readers understand that there will be deaths. As for most yaoi, the storylines are focused on the growth of the relationship between the main characters. In my opinion, rape would definitely effect that relationship, therefore you can't just ignore it.
Side note: my favorite types of action manga/anime/movies/novels are the ones that do show the consequences of massive destruction and deaths.
Honestly if it had actually been presented as rape instead of trying to sweeten it into something else I don’t think I would have been so torn. I can see what you guys are saying though. I do know that it’s only fiction and I don’t really have anything against rape in yaoi. What I’m conflicted about is that rape isn’t presented as rape.
Yes! I 100% agree!
