Yeah, I’m on chapter 324 and although Ciel is very clearly and obviously romantically attached to Eugene, he does not feel the same for her. He considers her family… tbh it’s a bit embarrassing for her cause he treats her like a baby sister and she gets really jealous and possessive around his actual romantic interests. Like, she’s a cool girl when she wants to be but sometimes I dread the moment she shows up because I know she’s just about to embarrass herself again. He’s her cousin, just because it’s a branch family and they can’t know how their blood intertwines anymore they’re still distant cousins. It would be different if she found that out after she developed this stupid crush but she knew the whole time.
