I wish we'd gotten another chapter of Sora grieving and then healing and maybe agreeing to be the witch for a new cat. I don't know. It just seems too sad for the manga to end on "the cat never came home again." Maybe I'm just too much of a dog person and I just don't have the strength of heart to let cats go when they're ready to go.

Theo'e brother/father that they overthtew was cursed, and it was placed on him and his family. ig over generations it developed from just menyal/physical deteriorating to turning into a wolf and loosing humanity.
I think FL beleives Theo to still be under the curse (no longer turning into a wolf but still might deteriorate) because theres no clear confirmation that love cured him.
The goddess's face sure was something this chapter. I was disgusted by her actions but also kept getting thrown off by how goofy she looked half the time.
It certainly is a twist that the goddess of love was behind the majority of Raoul's suffering, but I'm not sure if I like it. The saintess and the princess were set up as such easily hateable characters, so it was fun to cheer when they got their just desserts. To find out that they were controlled and brainwashed and maybe not at fault at all takes away from the satisfying feeling of revenge and now I just feel kind of bad for them. And feeling bad for the perpetrators is not what I really look for in a revenge story.
i think the brainwashing is more of an amplification of desires they already had?? thats my interpretation,, like yea the goddess of love coerced them for sure but i think they were all kinda twisted to begin with but the goddess meddling with their minds left no possibility for them to improve their behavior (cause she only encouraged their obsessive and dark traits)
See, I want that to be the case, and I think I could believe that for the princess, but I'm just not sure what sort of obsessiveness and dark triats you could amplify in a child as young as the saintess when the goddess first visited her.

Do you think Penelope liked Eclis at all? I'm certain she never loved him, but was there any affection there even a little? The only person she's expressed any explicit fondness for so far has been the prince. Seems to me that she's angry at her trust being betrayed and afraid that her chance for escape is disappearing, but I don't think I would say she's heartbroken.

In her situation everything is justified because she's trying to survive. But I think realising her own flaws will be part of her character development (I hope). That being said, you CAN feel heartbroken by betrayal/ break of trust, even if you don't have romantic feelings towards the person..
I just realized that the relationship between Penelope and Eclis reminds me of the relationship between the FL and her knight from Kill the Villainess except it's a bad end. The biggest difference is that the FL in Kill the Villainess admits to her knight that she isn't the person she's possessing and she needs his help so she can go back to her own world. I wonder if being trusted with that information would have changed Eclis's actions at all. Of course, there are other differences that have pretty big consequences, I'm sure. Penelope can die from anything and anyone here and the FL from Kill the Villainess could only die in one specific way, so trusting someone would be much harder for Penelope. Also, Eclis is an enslaved prince from a slaughtered nation while the knight from Kill the Villainess is a nobody orphan with no prospects, and while both are sad, Eclis's backstory is definitely more traumatizing and probably messed up his personality a good bit. Anyway, I think it's an interesting comparison between two similar circumstances.
Going by the beginning, where she had to navigate the restrictions on her actions by the setting, there's apparently things she "can't do or say" and might bring her back to the state where she was acting like a remote controlled puppet (that must've been terrifiying)
So I can't quite tell if it's a "she knows she can't tell the truth" situation or a "she tried every other angle and got too far to risk all on that one piece of information"
Despite baving read the spoilers for this webtoon, I honestly don't feel all that bad for the FL. Maybe it's just poor writing, but 3 men who are basically her brothers-in-arms and also in love with her very suddenly stop caring about her at all and she just accepts it. She hires an information guild, yes, but aside from that, she doesn't try very hard to do anything else to investigate or try to fix the issue. Feels to me like she never had a real relationship with any of them and assumed all of their affection and shared experiences were purely based on her role as the Main Character. So, not much of a betrayal when it seems like the FL was keeping them all at arms length the whole time anyway.
if it were me I'll be like "if you don't like me, then I don't either" and move on with my life and stop caring for those who don't, maybe that's what it is for FL
She didnt lead them on tho. She was engaged to the blonde one and kept the other 2 at arms length for a reason. And to me it looks like she's doing something by asking the information guild yo keep an eye on Grace Bennett. Also the same MLs she was close with threw her away like trash, I'm glad she wasn't begging for their attention and love. She gracefully accepted it and is moving on.

I think it’s deffo poor writing bc even tho it’s clear that the Author tried to make MC seem insecure when it comes to friendships due to her previous life it’s literally impossible that she wouldn’t feel any strong emotions to them leaving her so suddenly. Plus it just doesn’t make sense because she was in a coma for 3 months so they didn’t even have a chance to have grown to dislike her so her not being more curious/ confused doesn’t make any sense.
Maybe I am reading to deeply into it or I am remembering wrong; but I think she said herself that this fixation of the 3 men on her was a hardwired part of the story, which didn't feel organic or natural at all her but something she took advantage of nonetheless because there was nothing else to rely on. So there was the "fake scripted affection" of the men and her own growing affection simply due to spending time and braving the "endfight" which hadn't even been described in detail (like the getting there and such).
So I'd understood the whole shebang as shaking off the mesmerizing feel of "I'm in the middle of this unwarranted love and I LIKE it, what else was I supposed to do, I had even decided to get on with this setup because alternatives WHo and WHERE with these stalkerish guys"
