Tbh, even though I know that the director is being rational on the situation, I would turn him down immediately. If anything else happened at work, idk if I'd be able to separate my private and work life. It would just making both working and dating each other awkward. Like imagine making a mistake on your anniversary or a birthday and having to go celebrate after that. I would be both embarrassed and pissed off. This incident just makes it evident that there is too much of a power gap between them.

The main story feels like it needs a second volume to wrap up everything. We never got to see uke and seme come out to grandma. It probably wouldn't happen, but it would have been cute if there was a time skip showing them having adopted kids. I also feel like a major plot point is on how his mom made him feel about being gay... Tbh, I also
really want to see her get a verbal smackdown...

In a way, this manhwa feels more like a recollection of events than a regular adventure action story. I'm neither for nor against either side. Both sides have legitimate reasons for their actions. Neither side is completely right nor wrong. Hearing their back stories and seeing how they've changed is heartbreaking. It's like one side was born from hope turned into misery while the other from misery turned to revenge making it difficult for both sides to understand each other. It's just a sad and interesting story overall.

I feel like the fact that this story is a spin-off makes it seem more confusing than it really is. I didn't realize that this was a spin-off until I read the comment section. The main story didn't interest me before (because of love triangle) and it still doesn't now especially when Lezhin didn't even bother translating that one beforehand. The past events that are actually relevant to the story are summarized in the first four or so chapters. Everything else is just extra. I'm sure things will be explained more as it goes a long. Especially when it comes to past relationship, past relationships in man(hwa/ga/hua) is almost always vaguely discussed until there is some sort of huge flashback or spill-your-guts moment. Even some stories told in first person tend to do this.
I need a second volume...
