Don't know if I have this 100 percent right but, looking back at when Komano opened the door to see his Mother, she yelled at him " Ii-chan " and then that made Natsumi ask Komano what it stands for. Komanos name is Ichinoshin, he was named by his grandfather. The meaning behind the Kanji in his name is already explained in the last chapter
Ahh yes I knew that part haha- but I didn’t understand the explanation for the kanji ┗( T﹏T )┛ like why he found it funny because it was like, ‘one’ ‘name of a general’ ‘to advance forward’?

Also the setting (80s? 90s? I’m not sure) was a breath of fresh air ! The fact that they travelled to small towns too. It was just so intriguing to see what everything was like, and their lifestyles ~
The side couple is so cute oh my gods I wish they had their own story too ;^;!!
