tbh, i don't even like live action even before whenever ive read novels, manhwas or mangas. but some of them were actually good though, like semantic error? (if u know about it) but this one is actually trashy and it's not my cup of tea. idc what some of u are gonna say but as a novel reader, im very disappointed. some of the fans of the actors/actresses doesn't understand us, of course they didn't read orv and it's easy for them to say that. also, i like gatekeeping masterpieces and i don't want this to even get live action anymore
also, im a bit judgmental. lee min ho doesn't even have the aura like what yjh had, he's too softy
Trueee. I totally agree with you. Not being a hater or anything, Lee Minho is a great actor and I know he can play whatever character is given to him, but playing as YJH is just not it. Think about it, YJH's aura doesn't scream as though tired from work or anything, he had been through a lot like A LOT and it's more deep than just being depressed. Meanwhile Lee Minho's aura as playing YJH gives a different aura. I watched the trailer and I could tell, YJH is just not for him. I wish they consider first which actor would be able to have the same aura as the character. I guess we can give an example as One Piece... for me the actors has the same aura as the characters. Like Iñaki, he had the same aura as his character and it looked as if Luffy came to life.
I just hope they considered those kinds of things before dropping the bomb on us.
welp, real. totally agree with you too there are a lot of actors out there who would be a better fit for Yoo Joonghyuk. even at first, when they dropped the poster before the trailer and labeled it as ‘A Prophet' like bro, kdj isn’t even a prophet. i already knew this live-action adaptation wasn’t for me/us readers.
like fr- there are so many things they should have considered about the film. also, regarding Kim Jisoo as Lee Jihye, not even minding her using guns- but they couldn’t even consider giving her bangs? like they didn’t think about that at all
Trueeee!!! When I first saw the poster with a title of "A Prophet" I was like, "WTF was that?" I had a feeling it wasn't gonna be good then it even got worse when the trailer came out!!! And it's not just Lee Jihye (no hate to her) but even Lee Minho's hair style was like straight hair down style like I don't remember it being like that... I can't help but cry... I noticed how Korean live action tends to change the hair styles of the characters like for example Semantic Error but at least they give that BL's plot justice so it's fine... Japanese live action really do follow from the hair styles to even the vibe... For me, so far the live action adaptation I've watched so far is the Korean BL live actions... they at least do a great job when doing BL but sometimes fail so bad when it comes to popular action like ORV... I also heard they are planning to give Solo Leveling a live adaptation... I was like "nah bruhhh, leave Solo Leveling alone. The anime adaptation is enough, thank you."
I just don't want another flop like this to happen.

okay, sure! (if someone also have read the novel, forgive me if i ever have a slight of memory loss cuz this is all i can remember)
So after the seggs scene, the ML had a nightmare while sleeping so the MC don't know how to help him, he's just saying "My head hurts" idk what's gonna happen after this but in the morning, the MC went into the kitchen bc he was hungry. He saw that there was food in a plastic bag, an evidence that someone had gone to the convenience store so he scanned the time in the receipt and it was 3 AM. So after eating, he deliberately did not ate everything that was packed so that he can have fully breakfast with the ML but after that, the ML got out into the room and had a very different aura which shocked him a lot. His face was not covered in bangs and it looks like he puts a gel on his hair like his esper he used to know. That's when the MC realized that the 28 years old ML was finally back. He looked so intimidating like he felt he was mad about something and his looks that could kill a person without hesitation. The MC, now who looks so afraid of him, didn't know how to confront him nor can explain anything cuz he was speechless at that time. Now that the ML sees him, he scanned from head to toe, the MC was only wearing undies and shirt so he got mad to the point that he pinned him into the wall by using his power without even touching him and that really hurts him so much, to the point that the MC was close to death.
Fast forward, in the center, the ML got hospitalized and the MC was there as well but only on the outside far from his room. MC was so scared and he didn't know how to face him but after contemplating in the center, someone texted him. At first receiving the reply of
"where.." his heart goes badump and then
"where are you?" and he really thought he was gonna get killed by the S-Class Esper and this is only his last day on Earth now but after that he sent a text again
"where are you, hyung?" that's when he realized, that the very affectionate esper was back again. So after that, they met in the room but the MC stayed silent and froze. The ML got quite worried like why wouldn't he looked at him, why does he looked so scared and why does felt like crying. He asked if he was okay and why did he react like that but the MC, it was clear that he was traumatized. He was questioning of what did he do cuz he don't quite remember when his 28 years old self got back. So, the MC explained everything while trembling in fear and crying but the ML assured him that he won't do it again and was sorry for everything.
(there are a lot of things happened (more depressing) but this is all the scene after the intimacy so... i can also say this is depressing cuz i know the emotions of the MC have felt and i understand him a lot, that's why haha!
at first, i thought the 28 years old was actually that scary but the more ive read the novel up to the last, he's just nonchalant but very cutie on the inside lol he doesn't hate the MC)
