I mean, we, as the audience, know Yse just wants Maise to be with him all the time, but if I were in Maise's position, I'd definitely think this was all some kind of long terrible joke played by someone who just wanted to mess with me. As far as Maise knows, the demon king is an evil character and has no discernible reason to like her in the first place. At this point, the lies are only going to get bigger and bigger, and we've seen that reincarnated Maise isn't as passive and forgiving as original Maise, so I'm really curious to see how she reacts to this grand elaborate scheme Yse has set up.
