i sympathize with her tbh. since this is a historical manga i’m assuming she had to get married at an early age. she was barely an adult when she had to have a kid. i understand that she wanted to live like she did before she gave birth. she wasn’t ready to have a kid, and she shouldn’t have had to. in fact, nobody should have children if they’re not ready.
she was a horrible mother and it doesn’t excuse the way she treated her child. she took out her frustration at being forced to have children on an innocent little boy. but i do understand her, i think. and i feel a little bad for her.
the ending speech was so beautiful... i can’t believe this is over, but i’m so happy it happened. thank you everyone!
